Blue Bloods could finally get that scene we've all been waiting for

As a dedicated Blue Bloods fan who has watched every episode since its debut and can recite lines from Frank Reagan’s speeches in my sleep, I must say that I am beyond excited about the upcoming season! The prospect of Joe Hill returning to the screen is enough to make any die-hard fan like myself jump for joy. But what truly sets my heart racing is the possibility of seeing all four Reagan cousins together on screen at last.

There are some things that we would love to see happen in Blue Bloods before it comes to an end. And while the show being saved is most definitely one of them, we’re talking about scenes in the show for this post.

Among the moments eagerly anticipated is seeing all four of the Reagan cousins sharing the screen simultaneously. Might this occur in the last season? There’s a glimmer of possibility.

Joe Hill is definitely back in the Blue Bloods final episodes

Towards the finale of the series, Joe Hill will make another appearance. Hochman’s character has been a constant presence since Season 10, showing up sporadically to assist with investigations and provide some more tranquil family scenes.

According to showrunner Kevin Wade (as reported by TVLine), Joe is expected to play a crucial role in the series. He hasn’t provided further information, but given his significant involvement thus far, this isn’t surprising.

The four cousins may be on screen together in Blue Bloods

A unique situation we’ve never witnessed is having all four of their cousins appearing together in a scene. Joe has shared screen time with cousin Sean Reagan, but he hasn’t had the chance to interact with Nicky and Jack on-screen yet. It’s likely that there were many family events and moments between them off camera.

It seems that the upcoming episodes might gather all four cousins together. Wade didn’t explicitly confirm, but he did respond with a wink when asked about it, which could suggest that it will indeed take place. We can only hope! Given the circumstances, we would be thrilled to witness a family gathering scene involving everyone from Blue Bloods, as an ideal conclusion to the series. Frankly, we find it hard to envision this show concluding in any other way.

The fourteenth season part B of the series Blue Bloods will start airing on CBS this coming Friday, October 18th. If you miss it, don’t worry! You can catch up on Paramount+ the very next day.
