Bloons Card Storm: NinjaKiwi launches testing on Steam, Mobile version coming soon
As a seasoned gamer with over two decades of experience under my belt, I must say that the announcement of Bloons Card Storm has me all pumped up! Ever since I was introduced to the Bloons series back in 2018, it’s been a staple in my mobile gaming routine. The blend of Tower Defense and card-based gameplay is an intriguing proposition indeed.
Bloons Card Storm, the latest addition to the renowned Bloons series developed by NinjaKiwi, has announced a limited-time, playable demo access on Steam for players to preview the game. This trial period will be active from August 21st, 2024 to August 30th, 2024. The official launch date has not been revealed yet, but it is expected to drop later in 2024 for both PC and mobile platforms.
Bloons Card Storm will offer card-based gameplay combined with some classic Tower Defense elements
In essence, Bloons is widely recognized for its Tower Defense style of play, and even in the new release, Bloons Card Storm, they’ve integrated some elements of Tower Defense into the card-based gameplay. Your goal is to strategically use the cards in your deck because they will amplify both your offense and defense against other players.
In the game, fresh abilities and enhancements are being incorporated that won’t be part of your regular deck, but instead can temporarily boost your Bloons against opponents. You can activate the new Storm power-up which enables you to either momentarily halt your adversary’s progress during defense or break through their defenses while on offense. To excel in this game, it is essential to develop a sound strategy for utilizing these power-ups and cards effectively whenever necessary.
The Bloons IP is widely recognized and has consistently appeared within the top 10 paid apps for Android and iOS since its debut in 2018. If you’re a member of the ever-growing Bloons fanbase, prepare to be thrilled with the latest release! It offers an innovative twist, incorporating card-based gameplay along with tower defense mechanics set within the Bloon Universe.
The mobile version is expected to be released later this year
It’s anticipated that NinjaKiwi will soon launch the mobile version of Bloons Card Storm, but they haven’t specified an exact release date yet. However, we can look forward to its arrival in the latter part of 2024 since the developers have made plans for it to come out then, so a mobile release is likely during that time frame.
