BloodThirstyKings shift from MLBB to Honor of Kings

MLBB legends of North America, BloodThirstyKings, shifts to Honor of Kings esports.

In a surprising turn of events, the renowned Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) squad, BloodThirstyKings (BTK), has decided to make a switch and compete in Honor of Kings (HoK). This announcement was made after their controversial disqualification from the MLBB Mid Season Cup (MSC) 2025 at the Esports World Cup (EWC). The team is now aiming to create a new legacy that may outshine their previous accomplishments when they were revered as legends in the Land of Dawn.

BloodThirstyKings shifts from being Legends to Kings

The team responsible for placing North America (NA) on the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) map, known as BloodThirstyKings, has made a change and joined the HoK esports arena. A video extends a warm welcome to the team, confirming their transition to this new competitive environment.

BTK’s lineup remains intact for their HoK roster:

  • Michael “MobaZane” Cosgun (Captain)
  • Ian “FwydChickn” Hohl
  • Jang “Hoon” Seong‑hun
  • Ziameth‑Jei “ZIA” Caluya
  • Vo “Shark” Trung
  • Carlos “Bestplayer1” Ortega Vega

In a recent announcement, MobaZane stated that “Honor of Kings” is an extraordinary game, filled with numerous skilled players and offering a delightfully novel gaming experience. My team and I are picking up the pace quickly, and we’re determined to give our best efforts. We’ll rally our communities to help us rapidly match the global regions’ progress!

Who is BTK?

BTK gained recognition with their impressive display at the MLBB M3 World Championship in 2021. They challenged Blacklist International, a top-tier team, all the way to the lower bracket finals, thereby earning an international reputation. Post that, they often managed to secure spots for international events, even under different team names. Eventually, the group chose to resurrect the BTK flag.

The team, S8UL Esports, was initially scheduled to compete in the MSC 2025 at EWC. Unfortunately, team members Hoon and Mobazane broke a rule by participating in other Multiplayer Online Battle Arena (MOBA) games, leading to their disqualification from the event.

Because the winner was disqualified, the second-place finisher in NACT Spring 2025, Area 77, will now take their place. However, it’s uncertain whether this disqualification directly caused the change in position.
