Bloodhound is Out Now for Xbox Offering Gory Retro-Style FPS Action
As an ardent gamer with a soft spot for retro-style first-person shooters, the arrival of Bloodhound on Xbox feels like a long-awaited reunion with old friends. The nostalgia is palpable, as the game’s dark apocalyptic setting and demon-infested landscapes evoke memories of DOOM, Quake, and Painkiller, classics that have left indelible marks on my gaming history.
As a gaming enthusiast, I’m thrilled to share that my favorite developers, Kruger & Flint Productions, have just dropped Bloodhound on Xbox! This retro-style first-person shooter packs an intense punch with its raw brutality. The name speaks for itself – it’s drenched in blood and gore, making every battle a visceral experience!
In the spirit of groundbreaking first-person shooter classics such as DOOM, Quake, and Painkiller, Bloodhound is based in a dismal apocalypse filled with various hordes of demons (including those that fly, crawl, are humanoid, or brandish large chainsaws).
After its initial launch on PC and later release for PS5, PS4, Bloodhound is now accessible on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One. It retails at $10.49/£8.79, with a special launch offer in effect. You can watch the Bloodhound release trailer below.
