Abandoned Media unveiled the debut of its brick-constructing tower defense game, titled Block Fortress 2, which is now accessible on Android devices. Pre-registration for the iOS version is currently underway. As indicated by the App Store’s listing, the sequel in this popular series is anticipated to drop on September 18th.
Choose from unique planet biomes, build your ultimate base, and defend against relentless enemies
In Block Fortress 2, you experience a unique fusion of block construction, tower defense, and first-person shooter/third-person shooter action. Your role involves designing both defensive structures and tools for destruction. Immerse yourself in creating mighty fortresses, training specialized troops, and robots to safeguard your domain from the unending onslaught of adversaries hailing from the world of Blocks.

The game takes cues from Minecraft but introduces its own distinctive elements blended with Tower Defense (TD) genre, allowing you to traverse through ten diverse planet biomes, each presenting unique perils. Similarly to Minecraft, it offers vast creative liberty to construct your base using a variety of over 200 block types such as turrets, shield generators, farms, zip-lines, and more.
Explore various game modes, use weapons, survive environmental hazards, and more
Despite not having played Block Fortress’s initial version, my extensive experience with Minecraft has me eagerly anticipating giving this game a go. What particularly piques my interest is the diverse array of weapons at my disposal, including rocket launchers, mini-guns, plasma rifles, and even jet packs. Moreover, the ability to deploy soldiers and robots as allies in combat adds an extra layer of excitement for me.
All in all, this game appears quite intriguing with several gameplay options such as sandbox, missions, and survival modes. It boasts an advanced mission creator, diverse planet landscapes, a day-night cycle that changes dynamically, extreme weather conditions, alien creatures, various building blocks, and the opportunity to share your creations, among other exciting features.
The popular game “Block Fortress 2” has just been released on Android devices! You can download it directly from the Google Play Store. If you’re an iOS user, pre-registration for the game is now open – simply head over to the App Store to secure your spot ahead of its anticipated launch on September 18.
