As a thrilled fan, I’m excited to share that I’ll be back at the Anaheim Convention Center on September 12 and 13, 2026, for none other than BlizzCon 2026! After a three-year hiatus, it’s time to reunite with fellow enthusiasts. You might remember that the last in-person event took place in 2023, where every on-stage content was available for free via live streaming. Can’t wait to see what Blizzard Entertainment has in store for us this time!

The much-anticipated event known as BlizzCon is set to make a comeback! For those unaware, this is Blizzard Entertainment’s grand celebration, where they showcase their most significant franchises and share special moments with the community. Since its launch in October 2005, it has consistently been held at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California.

The team expressed that BlizzCon, which has been around for almost two decades now, has motivated them to create new ideas, explore beyond the limits of creativity, and offer unique experiences. Their goal is to enhance this legendary event, ensuring it becomes a memorable experience for the community. I wish I could be part of it as well.

At the 2026 BlizzCon, attendees can expect classic hits such as the Opening Ceremony, insightful discussions, the thrilling Darkmoon Faire, friendly contests, interactive gaming sessions, and much more. The team is putting in the same passion and commitment into organizing this event that they do with their games.

The expectations are high for the upcoming BlizzCon 2026, especially for Overwatch Mobile

I’m really looking forward to BlizzCon 2026, given that it’s been three years since we last had one. The whispers about the development of Overwatch Mobile and the recent job postings pointing towards it make me think that a showcase could be on the cards if they haven’t already announced it by then.

Furthermore, it’s reasonable to assume that Blizzard Entertainment will broaden their scope in the mobile gaming sector, possibly including a game like Warcraft Rumble. Considering the triumph of comparable titles, it wouldn’t be surprising if they launched one or two mobile games, with Overwatch Mobile being a strong contender. Moreover, it seems that Warcraft Rumble is also slated for release on PC platforms.
