Blindfire, a First-Person Shooter Set in the Dark, Hits Xbox Game Preview
As a seasoned gamer with a penchant for the unconventional and a knack for navigating the darkest corners of virtual realms, I find myself intrigued by Double Eleven’s latest offering, Blindfire. Having spent countless hours in pitch-black dungeons and shadowy corridors, my eyes have grown accustomed to the lack of light, making this first-person shooter an enticing prospect.
11/11 Games unveiled Blindfire, a fresh first-person shooter primarily set in the darkness. Players can get their hands on it through Game Preview at the moment. The game is characterized as an “adrenaline-pumping, streamlined multiplayer shooter” that offers quick-paced action in brief spurts.
Indeed, here’s an interesting twist: You’re trapped inside a completely dark arena, surrounded by seven other competitors, each armed with just a pistol and eight bullets. In this game of Blindfire, every brief round is a fierce free-for-all to be the last one alive, or it could be a team-oriented contest.
In this game, you’ll need to navigate using ultraviolet lights and sound cues, all the while dodging traps and obstacles such as security gates and alarm systems that might reveal your position. Additionally, be mindful of the muzzle flash when you shoot, since it could expose you, and with only eight bullets available, a ‘shoot first, ask questions later’ approach isn’t feasible.
You can now get your hands on the game Blindfire through Xbox Game Preview‘s early access program, which is compatible with both Xbox Series X|S and PC platforms. The cost is set at $8.99 or £7.99.
