Man, I’ve been crushing it lately in 2XKO! I think a big part of my success is finally understanding how power works in the game. If you’re struggling, I’d definitely recommend checking out bleed’s champion and team tier lists – they’re super helpful.
Frosty Faustings XVIII marked the start of Season 1 for 2XKO and was the very first official Major tournament in the new Competitive Series by Riot Games. Top players from around the world competed, including renowned champions from Evo, to establish themselves early in the season. The tournament was ultimately won by 16-year-old player bleed, who competed under the ONi Global banner.
You can find a long record of his competitive play on start.gg, dating back to the beta and early access versions of the game. His strong performance at Frosty Faustings is very promising, showing he’s a rising star with the potential to achieve great things in the esports scene.
Shortly after the tournament, bleed discussed his thoughts on game balance. He created two ranked lists during a livestream: one ranking individual characters, and another suggesting strong team combinations.

Yasuo and Ekko are exceptionally strong in 2XKO, earning them a top-tier ranking even above other excellent champions like Ahri and Vi, who are considered S-tier. The difference in power is significant enough to clearly separate them from the S-tier group.
It’s surprising to see Warwick ranked so highly in Tier A. There was some debate about his strength, especially since players in France consistently rated him much better. Teemo also made the list, even though he’s frequently chosen in competitive 2v2 matches. Another champion, Illaoi, received an A ranking from bleed as well.
Caitlyn, the latest champion added, was unexpectedly ranked as B-tier. Jinx has fallen to the lowest rank in this 2v2 knockout tier list due to her vulnerability to bleed effects.

In bleed’s 2XKO team tier list, Yasuo and Ekko consistently rank within the top five. The player’s main team has been placed fifth overall.
There is still no Caitlyn here, as she is too new for proper ranking.

In this 2XKO Major tournament, bleed reached the grand final after winning through the upper bracket. They played with Illaoi and Ekko as their champions.
In Round 2 pools, bleed defeated Mael “WADE” Jomie, a super-strong DBFZ player from France.
Among the final 24 competitors, William “Leffen” Hjelte, a player of Guilty Gear Strive and the champion of the 2XKO event at DreamHack Atlanta 2025, was present.
During the final playoff matches, players Atir “Zando” Yosef and Steve “Supernoon” Carbajal, who are well-known for their success in Guilty Gear Strive, competed. Bleed lost the initial grand final match but managed to fight back and win in the subsequent reset match.
The way players compete in 2XKO will definitely evolve as new updates and characters are released. Each tournament will likely showcase even more of the game’s potential as top players master its intricacies.
Following the Frosty Faustings event, American Super Smash Bros. players will compete in a smaller tournament called 2XKO at GENESIS X3, taking place from February 13th to 15th.
