As a dedicated fan, I’ve noticed a shift in the lineup for HEROIC during the CS2 BLAST Premier Fall Groups 2024. Due to Abdulkhalik “degster” Gasanov’s absence, their coach Eetu “sAw” Saha stepped up as the team’s AWPer.

In the initial stage of the BLAST CS2 tournament, the teams competed. Heroic needed two matches to conquer Complexity Gaming. Their dominance on the first map, Ancient, was evident (13:8). However, on the second map, Vertigo, Complexity came very close to forcing a third game. Eventually, Heroic emerged victorious in overtime with a score of 16:14.

Upcoming for HEROIC was the upper-bracket final clash with Team Spirit. The adversaries took a tight first game (13:11 on Vertigo), and they seemed stronger in the second game (13:6 on Anubis). This defeat moved HEROIC into the lower brackets. Their only remaining opportunity to make it to Group A’s grand final is against COL in their next match.

In the lower-bracket final, Complexity Gaming squared off against OG. The match was a nail-biter for COL, as they took the first game (Ancient) by a narrow margin of 13:11, but then suffered a defeat in Game 2 on Vertigo with a score of 9:13. However, the decisive Game 3 on Anubis went to Complexity, with them emerging victorious with a score of 13:7.

To advance in the CS2 BLAST Premier Fall Finals 2024, both teams require two wins: one in the lower-bracket final and another in the grand final against Team Spirit.
