The final stage of the BLAST Premier tournament is nearly complete. The Fall Finals began with a clash in Group A between NaVi and Falcons, and soon it will be Group B’s turn. With numerous intriguing narratives leading into this event, Group B promises to deliver intense action. Here’s a rundown of the upcoming matches for BLAST Premier Fall Finals Group B.

Team Vitality – Fall Finals Group B favorites despite EPL Failure?

This year, Vitality, a top-notch team in professional CS, has shown remarkable consistency. Although they didn’t shine at IEM Katowice, their performances have been getting better and better. Eventually, all their hard work culminated in winning the trophy at IEM Cologne. However, their success was short-lived as a narrow defeat against Eternal Fire brought an early end to their run in the ESL Pro League. In essence, it was just a few rounds that prevented Vitality from reaching the Finals, at least for a minimum appearance.

Regardless of the recent defeat, it’s clear that Vitality is the team to watch, particularly in Group B during the Fall Final. Their initial match is against Astralis, who are introducing their roster led by Casper “cadiaN” Møller for the first time. The controversy surrounding the Astralis lineup might have left some dissatisfied, but Vitality seems poised to secure an easy win in what could be a top 2 run at the very least.

Moreover, just like before, it’s Mathieu “ZywOo” Herbaut who spearheads the team’s formidable offensive. However, in a tournament as competitive as this one, Team Vitality must also ensure their strategic play is sharp and well-executed to secure victories.

It might just be a temporary high, but signs are pointing towards a long-term victory for our NA squad. Factors suggest that this isn’t just a honeymoon phase; it could very well be the start of something big!

Initially, let me emphasize their formidable offensive capabilities. With Twistzz leading as an In-Game Leader, they appear to have no vulnerable spot. Moreover, the strategic move of including Roland “Tomkowiak” has proven exceptionally fruitful, like a lucky gamble. The Polish AWPer, Tomkowiak, has been the standout performer for Liquid, maintaining an impressive 1.21 rating on LAN events. Additionally, Twistzz’s calling strategy seems straightforward yet astute, similar to the masterful approach of Nicholas “nitr0”. If they can effectively combine their strengths, they should effortlessly advance into the top 5.

In the opening game, Liquid faces Spirit, a match that appears unfavorable at first glance. However, Spirit has been unsteady lately, giving Liquid a promising opportunity to pull off an underdog victory. If successful, they could secure a playoff spot right from the start of Day 1.

However, their results at Cologne and EPL have fallen short of their usual high standards, a situation that needs to be addressed.

The Shanghai Major is nearly here, and Spirit has already missed an opportunity to secure a victory. This could be forgiven due to their inexperience, but another loss won’t be so easily dismissed. The Fall Finals offer them a great chance to regain their form, and if they play well, Group B should be a breeze. However, if they don’t step up, it could mean more struggles for the team, with Donk once again leading them through tough times just to make it to the playoffs.

Astralis’ Nicolai “dev1ce” Reedtz took over as the IGL, stating that “it’s a role I see myself in for many years to come.” But just a few months into the experiment, cadiaN was brought in. While it does little to reaffirm faith in Astralis’ public statements, the move was necessary once the team started to stagnate in its previous form.

There’s some uncertainty about cadiaN’s solo abilities, and it’s crucial that they deliver in Copenhagen. However, their history with Martin “stavn” Lund and Jakob “jabbi” Nygaard is impressive, so expectations are high. Their main objective in their debut will be to narrowly surpass one of their competitors to secure a spot in the playoffs.
