In about a few weeks, we’ll be experiencing the upcoming CS2 Major in Austin. This signifies that it’s high time for the BLAST Austin Major Pick’Em Challenge and Coin! Recently, Valve has released a May 22 update containing the complete Viewer Pass for the Austin Major, and now, you have the opportunity to collect the crucial major sticker capsules from it.

Valve appears to be adding a novelty to Souvenir weapons – a keychain for custom weapons, complete with a mini-movie of the chosen match. Although Valve didn’t officially announce this feature in the latest update, it has left some users puzzled.

Details about Highlight Keychain hidden in Austin Major Viewer Pass files

On May 22nd, they dropped some fresh stickers for the Austin Major in CS2, and I couldn’t wait to grab them! Just like every major event, there’s a Viewer Pass up for grabs, which comes with the Major Challenge Coin. To level up this bad boy, all you need to do is crush it with the Pick’Em Challenge – that’s guessing who will advance through each stage of the Major correctly. It’s a fun way to show off your prediction skills and earn some cool rewards!

Noteworthy is a finding made in the recent Austin Major Viewer Pass update, uncovered by data miner Thour. The discovery involves a “Highlight Keychain” that accompanies souvenir weapons, with reports suggesting this keychain contains a highlight from a chosen match.

In the patch notes, no reference was made to the keychain, leaving uncertainty about its availability for the Austin Major. It’s possible that Valve might consider adding it during the final playoff stage, but we can only guess at this point. However, the necessary files do exist!

In the game, you can obtain the Austin Major Viewer Pass for $10 USD. Individual stickers, featuring all 32 team logos and player autographs, are also available for purchase separately. These items will appear randomly in specific capsules. If you’re after a specific team sticker or autograph, your best bet is to get lucky, or you can buy it directly from the Steam Market.

Legacy officially replaces BESTIA at Austin Major despite late appeal

People promptly pointed out that Legacy had been added to the launching phase pod. It was revealed just a few hours prior to the start of the Austin Major Viewer Pass that Legacy would be taking over for the Argentinian squad BESTIA.

Unfortunately, BESTIA didn’t manage to obtain visas before the event. Nevertheless, the community is continuing to plead with BLAST, hoping that they might reconsider their decision on this matter.

Professional gamer Denis Kostin, also known as “Seized,” highlighted via Twitter and other platforms that his team 9Pandas was only provided a short time frame, approximately a few days before the PGL Copenhagen Major, to handle visa arrangements. The team reportedly even missed some media commitments due to these last-minute complications.

He mentioned that there’s plenty of time left before Monday arrives, so let’s be patient and prepare well for the opening stage, as it’s still several weeks off when BESTIA is scheduled to perform.

BESTIA recently announced that visas have been taken care of, but it seems BLAST is still overlooking this matter. We can’t let this unfairness persist any longer. We insist on being given a chance to express ourselves, they said in conclusion.

Currently, although there is considerable backing from fellow players and community members, it seems that Legacy will take the lead, particularly considering that their stickers and player signatures have been incorporated into today’s Viewer Pass upgrade.
