Blake Lively’s shark thriller The Shallows will air on UK TV this evening (January 8).
Initially premiered in the year 2016, this film centers around a character named Nancy Adams, portrayed by Lively, who journeys to Mexico after the passing of her mother.
At that location, she participates in a surfing event with locals on a hidden beach. However, during her time in the ocean, a giant white shark assaults her, leaving her stranded 200 yards from shore. To survive, Nancy relies on her intelligence and determination to swim back to safety.

If you haven’t seen the thriller or would like to watch it again, tune in to BBC One at 10:40 PM tonight, as The Shallows will be aired then. After the broadcast, it will be available on BBC iPlayer.
The well-regarded film, boasting a 78% positive rating on Rotten Tomatoes, made its way onto Netflix a couple of months back.
Meanwhile, it’s been reported that Lively is engaged in a ongoing legal dispute with her co-star and director from “It Ends With Us”, Justin Baldoni. She has filed a lawsuit against him, accusing him of sexual harassment and orchestrating a vengeful plan to suppress her allegations.

In response to the legal action filed last month against Baldoni and his company, Wayfarer Studios, by the California Civil Rights Department over sexual harassment and attempts to damage her reputation, Lively has now filed a lawsuit against him in a federal court in New York, also naming Jamey Heath, the CEO of Wayfarer, and co-founder Steve Sarowitz as defendants.
Baldoni refuted Lively’s claims, labeling them as “entirely untrue, excessively scandalous, and deliberately sensationalized with the goal of causing public harm and perpetuating a story in the press.”
Baldoni dismissed Lively’s accusations as “absolutely false, over-the-top, and maliciously salacious, aiming to damage his reputation and keep fueling media gossip.
Tonight, January 8th, “The Shallows” will be broadcast on BBC One at 10:40 PM. You’ll find it on BBC iPlayer shortly following the broadcast. Additionally, you can stream the film on Netflix as well.
