As a woman who has faced my fair share of adversity and toxic relationships in my own life, I find myself deeply moved by the situation unfolding between Blake Lively and her co-star Armie Hammer. It’s heartening to see how strongly people close to the project, like Brittany Snow and Colleen Atwood, have come out in support of Blake, acknowledging her strength and resilience.

Brandon Sklenar publicly stands behind Blake Lively during her legal dispute with their ‘It Ends With Us‘ co-star and director, Justin Baldoni.

On a Monday, the 34-year-old actor posted a New York Times article’s link on his Instagram Stories, which contains the extensive lawsuit filed against Baldoni, aged 40.

Over the link to the report he wrote: ‘For the love of God, read this.’

He also tagged Lively, 37, in his post and added a red heart emoji next to her name.

In the movie version of “It Ends With Us,” originally penned by author Colleen Hoover, Sklenar portrays Atlas Corrigan – a figure who is Lily Bloom’s childhood friend, initial romantic interest, and first love, as embodied by Lively’s character.

Last Friday, on December 20th, Lively submitted a complaint to the California Civil Rights Department against Baldoni. The complaint alleged that he had sexually harassed her and orchestrated a supposed defamatory campaign as a form of retaliation for speaking up about his questionable conduct on set.

In simpler terms, back in 1923, the actor had released a public statement asking fans to avoid criticizing or blaming the actresses involved in the film, as negative feelings were starting to build during their promotional tours over the summer due to the drama and controversy surrounding the movie.

During that period, Lively faced criticism for intentionally sidestepping Baldoni during their movie promotions despite having mutual commitments.

In my role as a lifestyle expert, I’ve observed an intriguing turn of events. Fans have speculated about a potential rift between the lead actors, following Lively’s decision to unfollow certain castmates on social media platforms. While it’s essential to remember that these platforms can sometimes be misleading, the whispers of a feud between our beloved stars have certainly caught my attention.

In her court case, she asserts that the alleged smear tactic by Baldoni, such as re-sharing old video clips of Lively’s previous interviews, which many followers considered inappropriate, led to an overwhelming wave of unfavorable comments on social media platforms.

Critics on social media have criticized the actress from Gossip Girl for her perceived flippant attitude and occasional sarcasm, particularly when discussing sensitive topics like domestic abuse, which is central to It Ends with Us.

In August, Sklenar requested on Instagram that fans should avoid criticizing harshly the ladies involved in the film-making process.

He asked fans to focus on message of It Ends With Us, which is centered around domestic violence and a traumatic love story.

Maybe by adding some implicit meaning, he implied that the movie serves as a stern wake-up call for those men who should sort out their affairs, step up, and assume accountability for their decisions and behavior.

In a different phrasing: ‘It’s contradictory to criticize the women who poured their heart and soul into creating this movie, as they are deeply committed to its message. Instead, such criticism undermines the film’s purpose. On the contrary, it should support the film’s core idea.’

‘Regardless of what took place off-camera, let’s focus on the purpose that drove us to create this movie.’

Sklenar added: ‘It’s been disheartening to see the amount of negativity being projected online.’

As a dedicated follower, I can personally relate to this situation. A person close to me has been going through a similarly toxic relationship, much like the one depicted in the movie. This film, which has miraculously saved her life, has instilled in me a profound sense of responsibility. I feel compelled to breathe life into this narrative and help disseminate its powerful message even further.

Sklenar isn’t the sole individual who contributed to “It Ends With Us,” as he too has voiced his backing for Lively.

A few days ago, following Lively’s court filing, Hoover, who was also an executive producer for the adaptation, finally spoke up about the ongoing legal dispute between the movie’s main actors.

She shared a photo of herself and Lively posing together that appeared to be from their promo tour.

In my correspondence to the esteemed actress, I penned: “From the moment our paths crossed, you’ve consistently shown honesty, kindness, support, and patience. It’s a genuine pleasure to know you.

‘Thank you for being exactly the human that you are,’ she added. ‘Never change. Never wilt.’

As a lifestyle expert, I must share that not only Sklenar and Hoover, but an array of esteemed A-list celebrities have stepped up in support of the actress, standing by her side during these challenging times.

In a unified statement, America Ferrera, Amber Tamblyn, and Alexis Bledel, who were once co-stars on The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, praised their old friend and fellow actress for her courage in standing up to Baldoni.

In a similar vein, Director Paul Feig, who collaborated with Lively on A Simple Favor and its upcoming sequel, has also voiced his support for the actress.

He wrote that she ‘truly did not deserve any of this smear campaign against her,’ adding that he believes it was ‘awful she was put through this.’

In response, Amber Heard expressed her thoughts and shared that she has experienced firsthand what it’s like to be targeted by a defamatory campaign.

Comedian Amy Schumer expressed her backing for Blake Lively by posting a message on her Instagram Stories: “I stand with Blake.
