Blake Lively Subpoenas Cell Carriers in Ongoing Lawsuit Against Justin Baldoni

Blake Lively has issued subpoenas to mobile service providers AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon in an effort to gather additional evidence during her ongoing legal dispute with Justin Baldoni, in search of further proof.

37-year-old star of “The It Ends With Us” is trying to find evidence that Baldoni, her director and co-actor in the romantic drama, organized a defamatory campaign against her.

Additionally, her legal team dispatched subpoenas towards two internet service providers, specifically Cloudflare and AOL, along with Jed Wallace, a public relations advisor allegedly mobilizing a ‘digital force’ against the actress at Baldoni’s behest.

Wallace has denied the allegations and filed a $7 million defamation suit against Lively.

Ms. Lively’s legal team, Esra Hudson and Michael Gottlieb, revealed on Wednesday to Deadline that she has begun an investigation aimed at unveiling the individuals, strategies, and actions taken over the past year to discredit her reputation and her family.

They stated that they would collect all the “receipts,” which, as expected, are not present on Mr. Freedman’s website. Just like Ms. Lively, these pieces of evidence will get their chance in a courtroom, according to Baldoni’s lawyer, Bryan Freedman, and the website thelawsuitinfo.com, detailing Baldoni’s account of the events.

Regarding the prominent PR expert, Jed Wallace, our spokesperson expressed eagerness to delve deeper into his overall business strategy and uncover any additional activities that might have been used to divert attention from the substantiated allegations of sexual harassment and retaliation leveled by Ms. Lively.

‘We are delighted to be able to start discovery on it,’ the spokesperson added.

It was additionally mentioned by her representative that Wallace’s participation was clearly outlined in messages previously acquired, which suggested that Baldoni’s group boasted about how quickly the public could be manipulated to dislike her.

In December 2024, Lively claimed that Baldoni had sexually harassed her and initiated a defamatory campaign against her.

In response, Baldoni argued that the texts presented by Lively as evidence were in fact incomplete. He subsequently released what he claimed to be the entire correspondence, doing so as part of a lawsuit filed against The New York Times in early January.

In the following lawsuit, additional messages were also part of the charges against Lively and her spouse, Ryan Reynolds.

At the start of this month, the filmmaker unveiled a site, which his legal representatives claim contains all documentation related to their court case with Lively.

In a recent claim, Lively asserts that Baldoni and Wayfarer Studios enlisted Melissa Nathan, head of Crisis PR, with the intention of tarnishing Lively’s reputation should she speak out about any inappropriate conduct by Baldoni on the set of It Ends With Us.

It is alleged that Wallace was hired by Lively’s company, TAG, to orchestrate a malicious online attack against her, which harmed her public image and the introduction of her latest product range.

Nathan and Jennifer Abel admitted devising a plan for their client, yet maintained that they never carried out the strategy since public sentiment towards Lively shifted negatively on its own accord.

In Lively’s initial lawsuit, it seems that the text exchanges provide a detailed account of the real-time dialogue between Baldoni and his public relations team concerning her.

According to a strategic plan submitted by Baldoni’s publicity team in the complaint filed by Lively, they had anticipated several possible situations that could arise if Lively decided to voice her concerns publicly.

A significant number of the text conversations involve the women, with one conversation featuring Nathan expressing that he could ‘outdo anyone’, a response to Abel’s message suggesting that Baldoni ‘wishes to feel as if Lively could be laid to rest’.

Nathan replies, “Absolutely, but remember, when we share documents, we can’t include what we might or could do because that could lead to some serious issues.” He also clarifies, “We can’t promise to eliminate her.

She responded to the previous message with, “What if a document outlining everything he desires accidentally falls into the wrong set of eyes?

‘You know we can bury anyone but I can’t write that to him. I will be very tough.’

In the meantime, it seemed like Baldoni was proposing an idea for a strategic social media initiative aimed at specific areas.

He shared a message containing a Twitter conversation involving accusations of bullying towards Hailey Bieber, which he labeled as: “This is what we’re asking for.

Baldoni, known for directing and portraying Ryle Kincaid, the partner of Lily Bloom (played by Lively), denies accusations that he engineered a negative publicity scheme with the help of his legal representative.

I can’t help but feel disheartened by the fact that Ms. Lively and her team are stooping so low as to spread baseless, damaging allegations against Mr. Baldoni, Wayfarer Studios, and their associates. This seems like another desperate ploy to mend her tarnished image, which she herself has contributed to through her comments and actions during the film campaign.

Observed public interviews and live press activities, where the internet community could formulate their own perspectives and opinions in real-time, without any editing.

Towards the start of the month, Baldoni unveiled a personal website aimed at countering Lively’s accusations of sexual misconduct.

To provide clarity on the situation surrounding his ongoing court case, the actor decided to make public information by posting a website detailing his revised claim and a chronology of pertinent events associated with the legal dispute.

Publishing the site will take place on Saturday, following the celebrity’s revision of his $400 million lawsuit that alleged Lively leaked her sexual harassment claim to The New York Times in advance.

His lawyer informed DailyMail.com that Baldoni modified his legal action because a large quantity of fresh evidence has emerged.

Fresh evidence supports our previous beliefs: Ms. Lively and her team, driven solely by self-interest, conspired for months to tarnish reputations by weaving a tangled web of truths distorted, false accusations, and the exploitation of secretly obtained messages, as Freedman explained further.

He found: ‘The continuous online interest in this case has surprisingly illuminated some undeniable truths about The New York Times and the extensive role played by Ms. Lively and her representatives in not only attempting to discredit and defame Mr. Baldoni, Wayfarer Studios, and their teams, but also in initiating this campaign.’

Baldoni, Lively, and Reynolds are scheduled to go to trial in New York on March 29, 2026.
