Blake Lively is focusing on her booze line this week.

On a Wednesday, the 37-year-old blonde icon from Hollywood shared that Betty Booze will soon release two flavors of vodka iced tea, perfect for the warm summer season.

The flavors are Meyer Lemonade and Passion Fruit.

The actress shared with People that, as she’s from the South, drinking iced tea, particularly during the summer, has become a regular part of her family tradition.

Whether it’s sweet tea, passionfruit tea, or tea mixed with fresh lemonade, these drinks evoke a sense of tranquility and serenity for me. Sipping on iced tea isn’t just about tasting the drink; it’s about savoring the feelings they bring.

In 2021, Ryan Reynolds’ wife launched her Betty Buzz beverage line with carbonated mixers, and in 2023, she expanded the brand to include Betty Booze, which offers both tequila and bourbon drinks.

Following the announcement that Blake’s friendship with Taylor Swift has ended due to her legal dispute with Justin Baldoni.

She mentioned that Vodka seemed like a fantastic fit for our selection of beverages due to its subtle yet favored taste. She referred to it as an excellent complement to our newly created teas.

And she suggested how fans should drink the beverages. 

She often envisions a backyard barbecue or an outdoor gathering during the summer, sometimes even with only one family member, as she mentioned.

She added, “Whenever you prefer to enjoy iced tea or an Arnold Palmer mixed with alcohol, that’s when you should try this. Be it at a party, a casual dinner at home, a restaurant, or any place comfortable for you. I find joy in seeing friends experimenting with both versions and exchanging them as they drink. That’s the sign of a close bond.

Lively then mentioned her Emily Nelson character from the Simple Favor movies.

‘Emily had a fabulous wedding in Capri, which is all things lemon,’ she said.

I suspect Emily might prefer to amp up the vodka content in our ready-to-drink teas, as hers tend to be quite strong, while ours are more mild and delicate. Emily, however, is known for her boldness, which is not something that can be said about our drinks or her on occasion when she’s in a good mood.

Reportedly, there’s a claim that Lively requested Taylor Swift to erase their text messages during the ongoing court case she has with actor-director Baldoni.

For several months, the actress has been embroiled in a lengthy legal dispute with a 41-year-old movie director named Justin, following her allegations of on-set harassment during their film ‘It Ends With Us’. This legal conflict also affected her relationship with Taylor, which became intertwined in the court case earlier this year.

According to a recent court filing unveiled by Page Six, legal representatives for Justin and his company, Wayfarer Studios, are pointing fingers at an anonymous insider believed to be well-informed. This mysterious tipster claims that Blake supposedly requested Taylor, aged 35, to delete some messages – though the precise moment of this conversation remains undisclosed. The intrigue is real!

The filing stated that Justin’s legal team claimed Michael Gottlieb, Blake’s main lawyer, reached out to Taylor’s legal team at Venable, asking for Taylor to provide a statement expressing her support.

The court document suggests that the demand contained an underlying warning: ‘Should Ms. Swift decline this action, it might lead to the disclosure of intimate texts belonging to Ms. Lively.’

Justin’s legal team stated that a representative from Taylor had addressed the supposed threat, which was communicated in writing, directly to Michael.

The document states that the Wayfarer groups are trying to acquire certain communications through a subpoena, which is part of an ongoing legal dispute concerning access to Venable’s internal messages.

According to these papers, the communications could be seen as attempts to make a witness who is involved in this case feel threatened or pressured.

Taylor hasn’t been charged with any misconduct, yet she’s been summoned to appear as a possible witness in the ongoing investigation.

Michael strongly refuted the accusations, labeling them as “entirely unfounded” and “devoid of any connection to truth,” in a statement given to Page Six, further emphasizing that he unequivocally denies them.

Taylor Swift’s representative confirmed that she didn’t participate in the making of the movie causing the conflict between Justin and Blake. During 2023 and 2024, she was busy globe-trotting for her record-breaking world tour, serving as the headliner.

Blake and Taylor have been close friends since 2015.

In January, Justin filed a countersuit against Blake, accusing her of defamation and extortion.

In the counterclaim, he asserted that Blake had referenced Taylor Swift and her spouse, Ryan Reynolds, as protective figures during artistic disagreements.

‘The message could not have been clearer,’ Justin’s lawyers wrote in the filing.

They mentioned that Baldoni wasn’t only interacting with Lively; he was also confronting Lively’s significant challenges, which were two highly influential and affluent celebrities worldwide. These individuals weren’t shy about making life tough for him.
