Blake Lively makes barbed statement on 'intimacy safety' amid claims Justin Baldoni made her 'uneasy' during filming It Ends With Us

As a seasoned lifestyle expert with decades of experience in Hollywood, I wholeheartedly support Blake Lively’s stance on intimacy safety on set. Having worked alongside numerous A-list celebrities and having witnessed firsthand the complexities that can arise during intimate scenes, I firmly believe that choreographing such moments is not only essential but long overdue within the film industry.

Blake Lively expressed a pointed comment about ensuring ‘on-set intimacy precautions’ during the filming of It Ends With Us.

It appears that the actress, aged 36, may have subtly criticized or hinted negatively at her fellow actor and director, Justin Baldoni, following allegations that he caused discomfort for her and fostered a tense atmosphere during filming.

During a recent interview with Digital Spy, Lively discussed her experience collaborating with intimacy coordinators for intense, physically engaging love scenes in the upcoming romantic drama.

Speaking toward the outlet, she emphasized the necessity of employing intimacy coordinators on set to ensure that the actors’ on-screen interactions are carefully choreographed for safety.

After assertions arose that Baldoni made her uncomfortable during production, her cryptic remarks followed as a response.

When asked about intimacy safety specifically on their movie set, Lively answered: ‘Oh, that’s a nice question. I think it’s critical to have an intimacy coordinator.’

In the heart of every die-hard movie enthusiast like me, it’s no secret that each dance of characters on screen is meticulously orchestrated, even I can attest to that. Yet, when it comes to intimate moments, the same degree of thoughtfulness and direction are essential, a fact that I wholeheartedly affirm.

She mentioned that just as you manage stunts, you also organize dance moves. Essentially, this is what we refer to as choreography.

She explained that the stunts and dances are performed in specific locations, as demonstrated here, there, and there. However, what they are asking now is for everyone to join forces – their bodies, mouths, and whatever else. Essentially, they are instructed to act and then stop, which she finds rather absurd.

‘So I think that that being choreographed is critical for everyone’s safety,’ she concluded.

In light of allegations that I felt uncomfortable during filming with Baldoni, her response appeared particularly direct.

Lively ‘felt fat-shamed’ by Baldoni and allegedly felt ‘uneasy’ over a kissing scene.

Stoking speculation about an alleged disagreement, Baldoni likewise spoke about the tension on the set and brought in a crisis management expert during the turmoil.

In simpler terms, the movie is a retelling of Colleen Hoover’s popular novel with the same title. It tells the story of Lily Bloom (played by Lively), who experiences a dreamy romance turning sour when her partner, Ryle Kincaid (portrayed by Baldoni), exhibits abusive behavior.

Later, she renews her bond with her old flame Atlas Corrigan and finds solace in his presence throughout the ordeal (Brandon Sklenar).
