Blake Lively is reportedly touched by comments that have come from Taylor Swift’s orbit.
TMZ reported on Tuesday that the Gossip Girl actress seemed pleased when Travis Kelce, Taylor Swift’s fiancé, referred to her as a ‘friend’ during an episode of his New Heights podcast.
Travis and his brother remembered the actress from her popular 2005 movie, The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, and that’s how Lively’s name came up in conversation.
That is when Kansas City Chiefs football star called the leggy lady a ‘friend.’
According to a source, the famous actress was surprised, especially considering her previous issues with Taylor Swift, but was ultimately happy to hear the comments.
Daily Mail has reached out to Lively’s rep for comment but did not immediately hear back.

This happened after Lively reacted to one of Taylor Swift’s Instagram posts shortly before the release of Swift’s album, *The Life of a Showgirl*.
Blake and Taylor allegedly stopped speaking after the actress became involved in a legal dispute with her It Ends With Us co-star, Justin Baldoni.
Old text messages from Lively surfaced, revealing she playfully referred to Swift as one of her ‘dragons’ and jokingly called herself ‘Khaleesi’ from Game of Thrones.
It appeared Lively was calling the shots with Swift, which probably bothered the singer, but she didn’t express it publicly.
Despite the possibility of referencing Olivia Rodrigo on her latest album, Taylor Swift chose not to. Instead, she seemed to focus her lyrics on Charli XCX and Travis Kelce’s former partner.
Okay, so there were reports back in September that Taylor Swift wasn’t keen on giving a deposition for the Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively lawsuit. Apparently, she’s willing to cooperate *if* she’s legally required to, but isn’t volunteering to do so. It sounds like she’d rather avoid getting involved unless a court order forces her hand, which is understandable, honestly!
Taylor Swift’s former friend, Blake, is taking legal action against Justin, her co-star and the director of ‘It Ends With Us,’ alleging harassment and a negative atmosphere during filming. Justin denies these claims.
Following a statement from Baldoni’s lawyer that Taylor Swift had agreed to a deposition but couldn’t do so until October 20th due to prior commitments, Swift’s lawyer stepped in to clarify. They stated that Swift never agreed to testify and isn’t involved in the case.

PEOPLE reports that her lawyer, Doug Baldridge from Venable LLP, stated she only found out about the request for a deposition three days prior from Baldoni’s legal team.
In a letter, he stated that his client initially refused to participate in a deposition. However, if a deposition becomes necessary, he advised that she could make time during the week of October 20th, provided all parties can resolve their disagreements.
The lawsuit between Blake Lively and Wayfarer Studios is set to go to trial in March 2026. All witness interviews must be finished by September 30th.
Following a June court decision allowing Baldoni’s lawyers to see messages between Blake Lively and Taylor Swift, this development has occurred.
E! News reported that a judge determined text messages between Blake Lively and Taylor Swift are connected to the current legal case.
To prevent information from being shared with the media, all communication between the two individuals will be kept confidential by court order.
