Blake Lively has described the ongoing pressure she feels from what she calls a “smear campaign” by her former It Ends With Us co-star Justin Baldoni and his team.

The upcoming legal case between Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni’s lawyer involves a heated discussion, as per Blake Lively’s recent deposition, which revolves around accusations of a defamatory campaign directed at her.

In December, the actress, aged 37, filed a legal claim asserting sexual harassment and a damaging reputation campaign against Justin, who is 41 years old, his team at Wayfarer Studios, their publicist, and PR representatives. However, all parties involved have refuted these allegations.

After a court order, the transcript from a deposition hearing held in New York on July 30 was made public, and it includes Blake’s statements that she made under oath while testifying.

According to People’s report based on a portion of the deposition, Blake asserted that she hasn’t sensed an end to the supposed ‘defamation’ she’s been subjected to.

The unnamed lawyer allegedly inquired from her about a certain matter concerning her co-star Justin from “It Ends With Us“: ‘At what point did the defamatory rumors stop spreading?’

To which she replied: ‘It doesn’t feel like it’s ended.’

When asked if it continued, Blake responded by saying, “It certainly seems that way,” and went on to express her conviction that both the defendants and the attorney were implicated in the supposed campaign.

She stated, “I feel your legal response, media coverage, and comments about me seem very much like retaliation.

Justin’s $400million countersuit was dismissed by a judge in June.

As a die-hard fan of Blake, I’m overjoyed to share that on August 7th, a representative for Blake announced with excitement that they were thrilled with how her deposition went. They can’t wait to take the stand against Justin and each of the co-defendants shortly!

According to reports, the complete transcript of the deposition stretches across close to 300 pages, with a section of it becoming publicly available as per Judge Lewis J. Liman’s directive on August 8th.

In June, it was reported that Justin’s legal representative, Bryan Freedman, mentioned plans to interrogate Blake under oath, without explicitly naming the lawyer in question.

During that moment, he additionally shared that Justin was striving for exoneration and desired the truth to be revealed appropriately.

The lawyer added: ‘He’s waiting for his day in court, where he can speak out to tell the truth.’

According to court filings, Blake’s legal representatives have claimed that Justin’s camp intentionally released confidential deposition details to stir up public interest and further the perception of a heated face-off between them.

Justin’s legal team suggests that the leaks might potentially stem from Blake, her spouse Ryan Reynolds, their legal representatives, or their staff members.

At her deposition, several defendants and eight lawyers were in attendance. Meanwhile, Blake showed up accompanied by her sister and closest friend Robyn, as well as her husband, Ryan Reynolds.

However, they were not with her in the room when she gave evidence over the course of a long day.

In the course of the deposition, Blake described the series of incidents that culminated in her legal action against Justin, initiated back in December of the previous year.

As an authority on lifestyle matters, I’d like to share an intriguing piece of information that recently caught my attention. In a unique turn of events, it seems a four-time mother noticed Justin, aged 41, exhibiting a charming behavior during filming. Apparently, he had a knack for nuzzling her neck and remarking on her scent, all without the sound crew picking it up because their microphones were off.

However, later-revealed footage appeared to contradict this claim – it showed not only that the microphones were indeed operational, but also that the duo had primarily been discussing their respective partners during the majority of the recorded segment.

It has been suggested that the accusations made by Blake regarding Justin organizing a harmful media campaign against her might not be entirely true, given her use of allegedly manipulated text messages provided by his team.

The documents submitted by Justin suggest that the communications between his publicists, Melissa Nathan and Jennifer Abel, may have been altered to exclude important context or were not fully comprehensive.

This year, a judge in New York dismissed Blake’s claim for emotional distress because she declined to share her medical records with Justin’s legal team.

However, last month, Blake triumphantly declared ‘exoneration’, as the judge extraordinarily dismissed nearly all allegations in Justin’s $400 million lawsuit directed at the actress and her spouse Ryan.

There will be further depositions before the case comes to trial in March next year.
