Blake Lively Fumes as Justin Baldoni Drags Taylor Swift Into Explosive Legal Circus

Blake Lively is upset because Justin Baldoni’s lawyers have issued a subpoena requiring Taylor Swift to testify in their ongoing court case.

Additionally, the legal team noted that Lively might deliver her dissertation at Madison Square Garden and sell admission tickets, which she found disturbingly sexist and demeaning.

A representative for Lively, aged 37, released a statement aimed at Baldoni and his business partner Steve Sarowitz, stating that their team is persistently transforming an incident of sexual harassment and retaliation into sensationalized content for the media outlets, according to People’s report.

Additionally, they criticized them for serving a subpoena to Taylor Swift, a global figure whose voice resonates with millions.

‘This is a very serious legal matter, not Barnum & Bailey’s Circus,’ the statement continued.

Taylor Swift, known for her Shake it Off tune, enjoys a friendly relationship with Lively, but she didn’t contribute creatively to The It Ends With Us production. Her representative clarified that her hit song My Tears Ricochet was merely licensed for use in the movie.

In my capacity as a dedicated fan, let me clarify that I myself, Taylor Swift, never physically stepped onto the set of this movie. I had no role in casting or creative decision-making processes. I didn’t compose the film score, and I didn’t have the opportunity to review any edits or provide notes on the film during its production. In fact, I didn’t even get to watch It Ends with Us until weeks after its public release. During the years 2023 and 2024, I was busy traveling the world, headlining what is now recognized as the largest tour in history.

In simpler terms, Swift’s representative stated that their popular music artist client is being exploited to generate public curiosity through sensationalized tabloid articles rather than concentrating on the actual details of the case.

As a devoted supporter, I find it disconcerting to note that the legal document served, which is intended to compel me (Taylor Swift), among others, to testify about licensing a song for a film, appears to be exploiting my name for sensationalism rather than delving into the true facts of the case. This tactic seems more geared towards generating tabloid headlines than upholding justice.

The representative further emphasized that the accused have persistently threatened, harassed, disparaged, and belittled women’s advocacy and integrity. Recently, they’ve even attempted to overturn, statewide, a potent California law protecting victims, labeling it as “unconstitutional.

As a lifestyle expert, I find myself increasingly alarmed by the actions of certain influential figures, including billionaires and their associates, who have built their careers on the image of being champions for women. However, these recent events are making it abundantly clear that they’re not all that they seem to be, as their true colors are starting to show.

A day ago, Mike Gottlieb, attorney for Blake, revealed details about the potential witnesses in the forthcoming trial concerning her co-star Justin from the film “It Ends with Us”.

Baldoni’s attorney Bryan Freedman also made a bold and mean-spirited suggestion.

Given that Ms. Lively is willing to give testimony, let’s ensure it has maximum impact. How about we conduct the deposition at Madison Square Garden, either selling tickets or streaming it online? All proceeds could be donated to charities assisting victims of domestic abuse.

On Thursday, it was confirmed by the actress’s lawyer that she, aged 37, is ready to testify under oath in a court of law.

As was anticipated, I’ll be taking the stand as a witness during Lively’s court proceedings.

The ideal time for a plaintiff’s narrative to unfold is during the court trial, and that’s what we anticipate will happen in this case (Lively’s case). He made this statement to People, adding that it’s only natural for her to take the stand.

In light of rumors suggesting that friends of Lively such as Taylor Swift and Hugh Jackman could potentially be summoned, Gottlieb stated that it remains uncertain if any legal claims or defense strategies pertaining to these celebrities have any connection whatsoever to the case.

He clarified that the matter at hand is concerning Blake Lively’s allegations of sexual harassment on set, not debating over song selections for the film or discussing fictional Marvel characters featured in the Deadpool series.

In essence, Gottlieb was questioning: “Why are these individuals being summoned with a subpoena? Are they in any way connected or relevant to the current case?

It’s not appropriate to issue subpoenas merely because someone is well-known, expecting sensational news coverage. The federal courts strictly disallow such inappropriate conduct.

Currently, I find myself in a position where the likelihood of my spouse, Ryan Reynolds, being called to testify isn’t clear at present. This is due to the fact that he is presently mentioned as a defendant in Baldoni’s counterclaim.

Despite making the involved parties uneasy, it’s important to note that the truth isn’t a diversion; rather, it’s been plainly demonstrated using unaltered receipts, documents, and authentic videos. There’s more to be revealed soon.

Freedman went on to say: “It was Blake who invited her influential acquaintances into this predicament, disregarding any potential harm to them, personally or professionally. In retrospect, it’s clear that she controlled Justin through her dragons, manipulating him at every opportunity.

Freedman’s closing comment was a subtle reference to the reported texts that Lively sent to Baldoni, where she mentioned Swift and Reynolds as ‘dragon-like characters.’

In these supposed writings, she likened herself to Daenerys Targaryen (Khaleesi) from Game of Thrones and elucidated that her ‘dragons’, symbolically, defend the causes she stands up for, whether it be for the good or the bad.

Concerning the accusations against Ryan’s misbehavior, Freedman stated: “Ryan’s actions are extensively recorded, and we keep uncovering additional instances of deliberate wrongdoing. It wouldn’t surprise me if Disney was involved in Ryan using shareholder funds to fuel a personal vendetta. I find it hard to believe that such corporate misuse of revenue would not result in further scrutiny for those who have contributed to the loss of shareholder profits.

In December, Lively submitted an 80-page civil rights claim to the California Civil Rights Department, followed by initiating a federal lawsuit about four weeks later.

During that same month, Baldoni was taken to court by Lively due to allegations of sexual harassment on the movie set. In her lawsuit, Lively, formerly known for her role in Gossip Girl, accused Baldoni of various forms of sexual harassment, such as body shaming, and also claimed he orchestrated a campaign to tarnish her reputation.

In response to the lawsuit, Baldoni and his representatives claim that Lively distorted the true meaning of text messages exchanged between them and deceived the public regarding the nature of their communications during the filmmaking process.

In her legal action, Lively listed several associates of Baldoni, such as Wayfarer Studios (his production company), the CEO and major investors of this studio, and public relations professionals Melissa Nathan and Jennifer Abel.

‘Yesterday, I filed a lawsuit with the hope that it will expose the underhanded strategies used to retaliate against those who speak out about wrongdoing and safeguard others who might face similar treatment,’ Lively expressed to The New York Times.

Following the publication of a December 21 article titled ‘”We Can Bury Anyone”: Unmasking a Hollywood Slander Network’, Baldoni filed a lawsuit against the newspaper, seeking $250 million in damages for defamation. The newspaper has since disputed these claims.

On January 16, Baldoni brought a $400 million lawsuit against Lively, Reynolds, and their publicist Sloane, claiming defamation and extortion. According to Baldoni, the three individuals fabricated allegations of sexual harassment against him in court.

After Lively made her complaint, Baldoni has encountered several career setbacks, such as facing a legal action from a previous publicist, and losing representation from the agency WME – which represents both Lively and Reynolds.

As a lifestyle expert, I’d like to clarify a recent rumor circulating about my professional dealings. Contrary to certain speculations, reported by Variety, neither Ryan Reynolds nor Blake Lively leaned on me to part ways with Baldoni in our client roster. We made this decision independently, based on the unique needs and goals of our company.

The attorneys from both sides agreed on a strategy to consolidate the two federal cases they’re handling into a single case going forward.
