Blake Lively files another lawsuit against Justin Baldoni now alleging mental pain and anguish
As a dedicated follower of Hollywood’s ever-changing landscape, I find myself deeply saddened and dismayed by the ongoing saga between Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni. Having spent years watching their careers unfold from afar, it is truly disheartening to see such promising talents embroiled in such a public and contentious dispute.
As someone who has been a long-time admirer of both actors, I have always appreciated the talent and artistry they brought to their respective roles. However, the allegations against Baldoni, if true, are truly troubling and go against everything I thought I knew about him. The fact that Lively felt compelled to file not one but two lawsuits against him is a clear indication of the severity of the situation.
It is also concerning to see the alleged actions of his publicist Jennifer Abel and crisis PR Melissa Nathan, who have been accused of waging a ‘smear campaign’ against Lively. If true, their actions are unacceptable and go against the principles of fairness and decency that should be upheld in any industry, let alone Hollywood.
As someone who has followed the careers of many actors and actresses over the years, I have seen my fair share of scandals and controversies. But this situation feels different, perhaps because it involves individuals whom I had previously held in high regard. It is a stark reminder that even those we admire can make mistakes or engage in behavior that is hurtful and harmful to others.
In the end, I hope for a resolution that brings justice and closure for all parties involved. And as a final thought, I can’t help but add a joke: perhaps one day Baldoni and Lively will find themselves on set together again, not as adversaries but as friends, working towards a common goal and creating art that we can all appreciate. After all, laughter is often the best medicine for healing old wounds.
Recently, Blake Lively has followed up with another court case against Justin Baldoni, barely two weeks since the first one was made public.
Initially, she claimed that during the filming of ‘It Ends With Us’, he sexually harassed her and created a harmful work atmosphere. Additionally, she alleged a toxic set environment while working alongside him, as both director and co-star in the movie. However, he has firmly rejected these accusations.
Initially, I was dismayed by the allegations that Leonardo Baldoni, along with his publicist Jennifer Abel and crisis manager Melissa Nathan, attempted to harm my reputation. Interestingly, Jennifer Abel has refuted these claims of engaging in a malicious smear campaign. Both Abel and Nathan have worked with high-profile individuals like Johnny Depp before.
37-year-old, full of energy, initially lodged a complaint earlier this month with the California Civil Rights Commission, however, she has since chosen to file a lawsuit against Baldoni in a federal court located in New York, according to TMZ’s report.
In her fresh legal action, she has named Baldoni, Abel, Nathan, and Baldoni’s production firm, Wayfarer Studios, as the parties being sued.
In her recent grievance, Lively alleges that the defendants have caused her mental suffering, agony, and emotional turmoil, in addition to financial losses due to missed work.
We’ve attempted to contact Nathan, Abel, and Wayfarer Studios, along with spokespersons for Lively and Baldoni, in hopes of getting their perspective on the matter.
Ever since the revelation of Lively’s initial court case this month, Baldoni’s professional life has suffered a significant setback, leading to his dismissal by his talent agency, William Morris Endeavor.
Liz Plank, a co-host on Baldoni’s Man Enough podcast, which is known for promoting ‘constructive masculinity’, has decided to part ways with the show.
Amidst the support from past coworkers, the lively individual – known for being married to Ryan Reynolds (Deadpool’s actor) and maintaining a friendship with pop sensation Taylor Swift – finds herself surrounded by well-wishers.
In their defense, both Brandon Sklenar, a co-star from “The It Ends With Us” movie, and Jenny Slate have publicly voiced their support. Additionally, Colleen Hoover, the writer of the book that inspired the film, has also expressed her backing.
In Lively’s initial court case, there were numerous claims made against Baldoni. She alleges that he displayed explicit photos and videos of other women to her, engaged in unplanned intimate acts during a filming scene, entered her trailer when she was undressed, and permitted his companions to observe her while she filmed intimate scenes.
Leading up to the movie’s release on August 9, whispers started circulating about a disagreement between Lively and Baldoni. More recently, Lively has asserted that during this period, Nathan and Abel were allegedly working under Baldoni’s direction, executing a deliberate plan aimed at tarnishing her reputation.
Leading up to the debut of It Ends With Us, Lively frequently became a trending topic on social media due to users criticizing her “unfriendly” demeanor during interviews. However, she now claims that this pattern was orchestrated by Baldoni’s public relations team in an attempt called astroturfing.
In my analysis, one of the initial concerns that surfaced involved what were claimed to be screenshots of text conversations, numerous ones between Nathan and Abel, apparently suggesting a strategic public relations maneuver was in the works.
A single piece of evidence, procured through a subpoena, appeared to suggest that Abel was purportedly stating that Baldoni desired to have the feeling that Lively could be laid to rest.
Nathan seemingly stated: “Indeed – yet it’s important to understand that when we forward documents, we can’t include what we might or could do since that could lead to complications for us,” further clarifying, “We can’t promise to annihilate her.
She is said to have additionally sent a message to Abel: “Consider what might happen if a paper detailing his desires falls into the wrong set of eyes. You understand that we could make anyone disappear, but I can’t put it in words for him directly. I will need to be firm about it.
In Lively’s initial lawsuit, she additionally presented a supposed text that Baldoni was claimed to have sent Abel – a snapshot from a conversation (X thread) discussing accusations of bullying involving Hailey Bieber, accompanied by the message: “This is the kind of evidence we would require.
As a longtime fan of music and Hollywood, I have always kept my eyes open for any juicy gossip or rumors that might surface. However, when it comes to the recent allegations against Bieber being involved in a smear campaign against Lively, I can’t help but remain skeptical. Based on my own experience following the lives of celebrities, I have found that these types of accusations often lack concrete evidence and are more likely fueled by tabloid sensationalism than any actual truth. Until there is solid proof presented, I choose to believe that Bieber has nothing to do with this alleged incident.
