Blake Lively & Anna Kendrick’s Awkward Red Carpet PDA Amid Feud Rumors

At the New York City premiere of “Another Simple Favor” on Sunday, Blake Lively and Anna Kendrick struck some less-than-graceful poses for the photographers.

37-year-old star from Gossip Girl flashed a smile and put an arm around the 39-year-old actress known for Pitch Perfect, while standing next to each other for photos, seemingly trying to dismiss speculations about their persistent disagreements.

Blake stepped out in a dress that highlighted her elegance in a deep-blue Cinderella style with cut-out details, whereas Anna showcased her well-toned abdomen in a fitted, white crop top paired with high-waisted pants of the same color.

At one instance, these ladies joined hands and gleamed radiant smiles while endorsing the upcoming sequel to “A Simple Favor,” set for release on Prime Video May 1st.

This situation arises at a time when rumors swirl about a potential conflict, and Lively’s protracted legal dispute with It Ends With Us co-star and director, Justin Baldoni, continues.

Fans initially suspected that there was bad blood among the actresses earlier this year.

A disagreement arose concerning the potential overcharging for an upcoming movie, and it has also been asserted that Kendrick feels that Lively’s legal issues involving Justin have garnered more attention than their new film.

Fans’ concerns were stoked when Anna and Blake appeared at SXSW in Texas in March.

In a video posted by ET, when asked about collaborating with Blake once more, Kendrick seemed evasive as he was busy signing autographs, responding casually with “Ah, you know…

Previously, a source informed E! News that there’s no animosity between them. Instead, they are professional colleagues who also share friendship and have a good rapport with each other.

Additionally, it was mentioned that both seasoned Hollywood actors are eager to help publicize the film alongside their fellow cast members.

Director Paul Feig of Another Simple Favor fame dismissed the alleged drama with a tweet saying, “This is complete nonsense. I’m sorry, but don’t trust everything you read online these days.” (January, according to E!)

In my last December revelation through court documents, I claimed that during our film project, Baldoni subjected me to sexual harassment and orchestrated a damaging reputation campaign against me.

Or in more conversational terms:
Back in December, I shared some shocking news through legal papers stating that on the set of our movie, Baldoni crossed boundaries with inappropriate behavior and even tried to tarnish my image.

The mother-of-three also outlined missed work opportunities in the explosive lawsuit.

Among the jobs I didn’t get was hosting the debut of Season 50 of Saturday Night Live in September, a role that followed the release of my movie feature by one month.

‘The effects on Ms. Lively’s professional life were immediate and substantial,’ said the document.

According to the document, due to the continuous nature of the campaign and the unfavorable public opinion it has generated, Ms. Lively felt it would be necessary to publicly address the incident that occurred on set if she were to continue with public engagements or events.

Justin strongly refutes her accusations and has initiated a $400 million defamation and extortion lawsuit against her, Ryan, and their publicist Leslie Sloane. The case will be presented in court in March 2026.
