Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds enjoy a date night after It Ends With Us London screening – as actress speaks on going head to head with husband at the box office: ‘F*** that movie’

As I delve into the captivating world of Blake Lively, I am struck by her multifaceted persona that effortlessly transcends the boundaries of gender stereotypes. Her life journey, marked by resilience and grace, mirrors the very essence of her upcoming films – a harmonious blend of the masculine and feminine.

On a night out, Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds attended a screening for “It Ends With Us” before jokingly discussing their upcoming box office rivalry.

The Gossip Girl star, 36, is currently on the press tour for the film adaptation of Colleen Hoover’s novel by the same name, while Ryan has been promoting Deadpool & Wolverine.

On Friday, “It Ends With Us” will hit theaters and go head-to-head with the Marvel movie that premiered towards the end of July at the box office.

On Capital Breakfast last Friday, I was humorously quipping when asked about the rivalry between my films and my spouse’s. I playfully said something to the effect of: “I’ll let his film take the spotlight today.”

On Thursday, the couple appeared as if they were deeply in love while strolling together, holding hands, outside London’s Chiltern Firehouse.

In an elegant presentation, Blake chose a stylish outfit, featuring a tanned, pleated miniskirt paired with a crisp white shirt and a sparkling pink jacket adorned with sequins.

She completed her outfit by adding a striped tie and tall, laced cream boots featuring spiked soles. Meanwhile, Ryan donned a vibrant green and rainbow-striped knit vest.

After seeing the movie “It Ends With Us” at Odeon Luxe Leicester Square, they had their evening out together.

As I eagerly await the premiere, here I am, sharing my heartfelt emotions with Chris Stark and Kemi Rodgers from Capital Breakfast. It’s quite surreal for me, this unique experience of having a film released alongside my beloved spouse. The anticipation is palpable!

She exclaimed, “Wow, there’s so much fire here, so much fire!” she said. It’s definitely friendly fire, what’s intriguing is that instead of being competitive, we’re genuinely rooting for each other. I aimed to make his film as successful as possible and in any way I could, and the same goes for him – this support starts in pre-production, continues through production, post-production, and extends beyond these stages. We really show up for each other and are fortunate to have people in our lives who do the same. This collaboration has been a beautiful experience.

‘To see Deadpool & Wolverine whose goliath, showing up for us […] what a surreal time.’

Regarding Blake’s appearance in the Marvel movie as Lady Deadpool, Kemi remarked: “Well, it’s quite charming, and naturally, you’re featured there too.”

Blake responded, “You’re right, whatever happens I’ll come out on top this weekend. I have plans for both days. You see, it’s a game of chess we’re talking about here – a long game.”

Regarding the contrast between the two movies, Blake commented: ‘Our film appears quite feminine at first glance, but upon viewing, even men find themselves appreciating it deeply due to its portrayal of various aspects of masculinity and exploration of diverse facets within us all.’

Having grown up with a diverse range of movies as my companions, I’ve come to appreciate the artistry and storytelling that transcends gender boundaries. These two films, one distinctly masculine and the other feminine, may seem different at first glance, but once you immerse yourself in their narratives, it becomes clear they both encompass every aspect of human experience. They serve as mirrors reflecting our complexities, triumphs, and struggles, making us question, laugh, cry, and empathize – regardless of gender.

Kemi stated that everyone could find pleasure in it, then Blake playfully suggested, “Though remember, not this weekend’s Deadpool and Wolverine movie.”

Kemi laughed as she said ‘And that’s the message’, before Blake added: ‘F*** t that movie.’

Blake is currently promoting her movie while also managing her seven-year-old hair care brand, Blake Brown Beauty, which she recently introduced to the market.

The haircare line will be available exclusively at Target and her website next week.

As a seasoned entrepreneur who has launched numerous successful businesses over the years, I can appreciate the excitement surrounding the launch of a new venture, especially when it comes from someone as well-known and stylish as a former Gossip Girl alum. While I may not have had the same acting career as her, I understand the hype that surrounds a celebrity’s business endeavors, and I can’t help but be intrigued by what she has in store for us with this new beauty brand. I look forward to seeing how her unique perspective and sense of style translate into products that will surely captivate fans and beauty enthusiasts alike.

She labeled an Instagram post as: “From being a child to reaching adulthood, and even through my personal life and career, people have often recognized one thing about me above all else – not my personality, but rather my hair.”

My longest life partner is thriving after 36 years together, and I’m committed to keeping our bond strong. Just like any relationship, nurturing it ensures its longevity. To love it truly, I’ve discovered a method that has been incredibly effective for me – an approach learned from decades of collaboration with top professionals in the field and endless experimentation.
