In the ’90s and early 2000s, Wesley Snipes played Blade in three films. Later, he made a brief appearance as the character in a joint cameo for Deadpool and Wolverine, marking his first on-screen return as Blade since the premiere of Blade: Trinity in 2004.

In a realm beyond time and space, Deadpool and Wolverine collided with Blade (portrayed by Wesley Snipes), Elektra (as played by Jennifer Garner from the 2003 Daredevil film), Gambit (Channing Tatum’s character from an aborted X-Men spin-off), and Chris Evans’ Human Torch from the initial Fantastic Four movie. This encounter shattered the multiverse.

Marvel has disclosed intentions to revive the character of Blade, starring Mahershala Ali as the bloodsucker, in a standalone film. Despite encountering multiple delays, the production continues to progress within the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
