Blackpink is back.
On Wednesdays announcement, the K-pop girl band shared plans for their summer tour, marking their first tour in two years. This tour includes a stop at Inglewood’s SoFi Stadium.
Blackpink will take the stage at SoFi Stadium on July 12, following their performances at Seoul’s Goyang Stadium on July 5 and 6. After SoFi, they plan to visit Chicago, Toronto, and New York before moving on to cities in Europe.
In 2023, Blackpink made history as the first Korean group to headline Coachella. Since then, each member – Jisoo, Jennie, Lisa, and Rosé – has been pursuing their individual careers. Currently, “Apt.” by Rosé and Bruno Mars is at number 7 on Billboard’s Hot 100. Recently, Lisa launched “Born Again,” a joint project with Doja Cat and Raye; she also features in the third season of HBO’s “The White Lotus,” which began streaming this month.
2022 saw the release of Blackpink’s recent studio album titled “Born Pink.” Sales for concert tickets commence on Thursday.
