Black Phone sequel releases terrifying new teasers
The Black Phone 2 has unveiled three terrifying new teasers, ahead of its upcoming release.
In the initial film, we follow the timid 13-year-old character Finney Shaw (portrayed by Mason Thames), who fell victim to an abduction at the hands of a child murderer wearing a mask, commonly referred to as The Abductor (Ethan Hawke).
However, events take a chilling twist as a phone hanging on the wall unexpectedly starts to ring, and Finney hears the haunting voices of The Grabber’s past victims echoing through it.
What to Read Next
This coming year, you’ll find the follow-up to the chilling saga in movie theaters, as Thames, Hawke, Madeleine McGraw, and Jeremy Davies return to portray their characters once more.
As I eagerly await more information about the storyline, a fresh glimpse at the game provided by Fandango has unveiled a crucial setting, fresh faces among the casualties, and of course, a mysterious black phone.
As a thrilled fan, I can’t help but share my excitement over the first tantalizing teaser trailer unveiled on X/Twitter! It offers a chilling glimpse into the frosty landscape of the Christian Alpine Lake Youth Camp. The intrigue intensifies as an eerie, abandoned telephone box suddenly springs to life and begins to ring, leaving me on the edge of my seat in anticipation!
An unidentified voice expresses distress, saying, “Jesus, things aren’t going great for me. I urgently require assistance, genuine aid.” The voice continues, expressing fear that “he might end my life.
In the second segment, there are images of three unaccounted-for youths who tragically lost their lives. A nameless figure recounts the events that led to their demise at the campsite, interspersing the narrative with harrowing snapshots of their untimely deaths.
In the concluding teaser, we see haunting glimpses of the gruesome remains of the deceased victims, scattered throughout the camp. As it comes to a close, a voice ominously states “we’re doomed out here”, and the scene shifts to an interior shot of a telephone booth.
As an ardent fan, I can’t help but ponder if the chilling murders might somehow be associated with that enigmatic character known as The Grabber, despite his absence in the recorded evidence.
The Black Phone 2 will be released in cinemas on 17 October, 2025.
