Black Ops 6 Zombies brings CoD first: Pause and Save Feature

As a seasoned Call of Duty player who has spent countless hours battling it out in Black Ops games and surviving Zombies mode, this Save and Quit feature in Black Ops 6 is nothing short of a game-changer! I’ve lost count of how many times I had to start over due to unexpected life interruptions or internet connection hiccups. Now, I can breathe a sigh of relief knowing that my progress won’t be wiped out.

Solo players can heave a sigh of relief.

In Black Ops 6, gamers now have the freedom to save and exit matches whenever it suits them, marking a novelty within the Call of Duty series. This beneficial feature allows players to resume their game from where they left off, making it ideal for those who need to tend to immediate responsibilities during gameplay. Additionally, this functionality will be advantageous for players who frequently encounter internet connectivity problems.

Save and Quit Feature in Call of Duty Black Ops 6

Players of Call of Duty, particularly those who enjoy the Zombies mode, often recall the days when their progress wasn’t autosaved during gameplay. If you stepped away from your keyboard during a Zombies match, it essentially meant the game was over for you. You would have to start all over again, losing valuable time and effort. However, with the release of Black Ops 6, this issue has been addressed. The game will now automatically save your progress if you’re inactive for an extended period.

In this game, players have the option to manually store their game progress. However, there are certain requirements for manual saving. Firstly, the player must not be defeated (knocked down) and should be at maximum health. Secondly, if the player is currently in the middle of an active game session, manual saving will be temporarily disabled. This feature enables players to resume playing from where they last saved, considering that real-life matters might demand their attention over the game.

As a long-time gamer with countless hours spent navigating through various glitches and connection issues during my gaming sessions, I can confidently say that this new feature is a game-changer. The ability to automatically save my progress whenever I am away from keyboard (AFK) and the option to rejoin a match after an unexpected disconnection due to internet trouble are features that I have always wished for in games. These functionalities will significantly improve my gaming experience, saving me from countless frustrations and lost progress. It’s clear that the developers have taken note of the struggles gamers face and have made an effort to make our gaming lives easier and more enjoyable.

In a solo Zombie game for the very first time, you now have the option to pause and return later. If your connection drops, don’t worry – just resume playing from where you previously were.

This feature is only available for solo matches as the quick reconnection will not impact the overall game. It’s not the same for squad matches. In squad matches, however, players can reconnect to their matches. After the initial reconnect, they might have to wait sometime as they observe their teammates. But they should be able to join the game soon after.
