Black Myth: Wukong Reportedly Not On Xbox Series X|S Yet Due to Sony Exclusivity Deal

As a seasoned gamer with countless hours spent traversing digital realms and exploring virtual worlds, I must say, the news about Black Myth: Wukong has left me both intrigued and a tad disappointed. The rumors of a technical issue on Xbox Series S turned out to be just that – rumors. However, it seems there’s more to this story than meets the eye.

It is believed that a memory leak issue on Xbox Series S may have delayed Black Myth: Wukong from appearing on Xbox Series X|S, but recent reports indicate there could be additional factors at play regarding why the developer Game Science’s action RPG has not yet launched on Microsoft’s console. Rumor has it that Sony has a secret deal with the studio, which hasn’t been disclosed to the public.

Reports from IGN and Forbes indicate that rumors about a technical hurdle stopping Black Myth: Wukong from launching on Xbox simultaneously with its PS5 release are unfounded. Instead, it appears Sony has negotiated an arrangement for the game to debut first as a timed PlayStation exclusive. However, in an official statement, Game Science claims they are still working on optimizing the game for Xbox.

However, it now appears this may not be the reason for the delay in this case.

When can we expect to play Black Myth: Wukong on Xbox Series X|S? Given that there might be an exclusive deal in effect, it could take anywhere from a few months up to a year. Let’s hope for some clarity on the matter soon.
