Binky Felstead announces new Made In Chelsea spin-off Beyond Chelsea with former co-stars Rosie Fortescue and Lucy Watson
As a dedicated follower of Made In Chelsea since its inception, I must say it feels like coming home again to hear about Binky Felstead, Rosie Fortescue, and Lucy Watson returning for a spin-off series. Their journey from the bustling streets of Chelsea to their current lives as mums, wives, and entrepreneurs is nothing short of inspiring.
On Wednesday, it was revealed that Binky Felstead is set to appear alongside her ex-colleagues Rosie Fortescue and Lucy Watson in a new version of “Made In Chelsea.
Originally famous for their stint on a long-lasting, highly popular reality TV series, these three individuals are set to appear in the upcoming two-part series titled “Beyond Chelsea.” The series is slated to debut on E4 and will also be streamable on Channel 4 towards the end of this year.
Posting two pictures that seem like promotional snaps, the mother of three expressed her thrill by saying: “I’M THRILLED TO SHARE THE EXCITING NEWS about my upcoming TV show titled ‘Beyond Chelsea’ alongside these stunning ladies!
She mentioned, “Much has evolved since I became an original cast member on Made in Chelsea 14 years back.
‘I’ve moved out of Chelsea, married my wonderful husband, and welcomed three beautiful children.’
I’m deeply proud of ‘Beyond Chelsea’, a project that I’ve longed to work on with great enthusiasm.
Following discussions with the girls and my MIC crew at Monkey and Channel 4, there was a strong consensus of agreement!
She concluded with: ‘The series reflects where I am in life now, whilst still giving a nod to the original show. It’s so exciting to see it all finally come together.’
34-year-old Rosie mentioned that she just couldn’t resist the chance to work alongside her dearest companion. She expressed, “I hadn’t expected to find myself in front of a camera again.
However, I couldn’t resist taking part in our friend’s project, clear up any misunderstandings, and share a bit more about myself than I have before.
Lucy, aged 33, concurred with Rosie’s remark by expressing: “I didn’t expect to come back to the world of reality TV after quitting Made in Chelsea.
‘However, after 8 years it turns out I actually quite miss it! I’m excited to be a part of a new show, albeit nervous to share so much about my life once again.’
As a devoted fan myself, I’m thrilled beyond words to have this opportunity to work on a project that will undoubtedly delight all original Made in Chelsea enthusiasts!
These ladies deserve recognition for constructing remarkable careers post the show; however, let’s not forget that just like everyone else, they’ve faced highs and lows. Life for them, as for many, is never devoid of excitement.
We’re eagerly anticipating inviting fans along for an adventure starring Binky, Rosie, and Lucy, giving them a special peek into what lies beyond ‘Made in Chelsea,’ offering a unique glimpse into their lives off-camera.
As the Managing Director, Helen Kruger-Bratt mentioned: ‘Initially, fans developed a fondness for Binky, Rosie and Lucy on Made in Chelsea’s renowned cast. The fact that they’re coming back to our screens will undoubtedly excite longtime viewers.’
Eagerly anticipating the start of this fresh journey alongside my cherished companions, I can hardly wait to catch up and discover what thrilling escapades lie ahead for us!
The show will track the lives of these three women, now mothers, spouses, and businesswomen, as they juggle their family responsibilities with their professional commitments.
As a die-hard fan, I can hardly contain my excitement! After eight long years, this upcoming spin-off is finally going to reunite my favorite trio on our screens once more. It’s like a dream come true for me and countless other fans!
Binky spent six years on the hit reality show before leaving in 2017.
In June 2017, she had a baby girl named India, who is currently seven years old. This child is shared with her former acting partner and past boyfriend, Josh ‘JJ’ Patterson.
Currently, she’s wedded to the entrepreneur Max Fredrik Darnton, and they are blessed with two boys – three-year-old Wolfie and one-year-old Wilder – who they both cherish.
Additionally, in 2014, Rosie opted out of Made In Chelsea to devote her attention to expanding her jewelry business. On the other hand, Lucy departed from the series in 2016, allowing her to savor her relationship with James Dunmore without the presence of cameras.
The couple married in September 2021 and welcomed their son Willoughby in March of the same year.
