The mini-series produced in France is based on the book penned by Dolores Redondo, focusing on the character of Manuel (played by David Kammenos), a well-known author, who delves into the enigmatic automobile accident that claimed the life of his husband Aymeric (portrayed by Alexis Loret).

Manuel firmly believes Aymeric’s demise was no mere accident and is relentless in his pursuit of the real truth. In doing so, he unearths hidden family secrets, one of which involves his husband being the inheritor of a vineyard, a fact that had been kept from him.
