Bindi Irwin and husband Chandler Powell celebrated a huge relationship milestone on Friday.
The mom shared a heartwarming message to her partner on Instagram, celebrating twelve years since they first met.
I was so thrilled to see the photos she posted! They were absolutely adorable – Chandler, 29, was lifting Bindi, 27, right into his arms as they were celebrating. It was such a sweet moment!

Oh my gosh, you guys, I just saw the pictures! She looked absolutely incredible – a shimmering, black, strapless gown, completely covered in glitter! I can’t stop thinking about it. It was the perfect combination of glamorous and… well, her. Seriously, breathtaking!
She and Chandler were close together, almost touching, while he held her. She had a stylish half-up hairstyle, and he was wearing a black button-down shirt.
The second photo was a little fuzzier, capturing the joyful couple laughing together while Bindi rested against Chandler.
‘And my heart is yours. I love you so much,’ Chandler penned in the comments.
Terri Irwin, the family’s mother figure, shared a sweet message for the couple, simply writing, ‘And they lived happily ever after!’
Bindi and Chandler met in November 2013 when Chandler, a former wakeboarder, traveled to Australia for a sports event.
He visited Australia Zoo and was shown around by Bindi, and the two of them connected immediately, staying in contact afterward.
Bindi married wakeboarder Chandler Powell in a small, private ceremony on March 25, 2020, right as the Covid-19 pandemic was beginning.
She shared with HELLO! magazine that it was difficult not having loved ones at their wedding, as they had to follow strict lockdown rules.
Bindi would like to have another wedding celebration for those who couldn’t make it to the first one, now that her daughter, Grace Warrior, is a little older.
The couple had a baby, Grace, on March 25, 2021, one year after their wedding at Australia Zoo.
The family is currently staying in the US while Bindi’s brother, Robert, competes on Dancing With The Stars.
In a September Instagram video, Bindi shared that she and her family were moving to Los Angeles while her brother, Robert, filmed a show.
Australia Zoo will always be my absolute happy place, but honestly, I’m just here for my brother! I have to support him on Dancing With The Stars, it’s everything! I’m so excited to watch him shine.
Bindi shared with her fans that winning the US version of Dancing with the Stars ten years ago completely changed her life.
My younger brother is going to be on the show, and I’m really excited to be there for him and watch from the audience, she said.
