Bindi Irwin shares sweet family photo with husband Chandler Powell and daughter Grace – following her shock health emergency: ‘Very grateful’

On Monday, Bindi Irwin posted a touching family photo on social media, capturing a moment from their trip to Disney World in the United States, where they were accompanied by Bindi’s husband, Chandler Powell, and their little girl, Grace.

26-year-old Nature Protector was spotted in a heartwarming Instagram post, posing alongside her little ones, in front of the famous Cinderella castle at the Florida theme park.

In this scene, Chandler, aged 28, gently cradled Little Grace, who was just four years old. She was beautifully attired for the event in a shimmering dress and a charming Mickey Mouse cap. Meanwhile, Bindi stood nearby, holding her husband’s hand and beaming with joy.

‘May was an incredible month,’ Chandler captioned the family photo. 

Previously crowned wakeboard champion, he went on to recount several special family experiences, such as the unexpected health crisis that Bindi experienced, which ultimately turned out to be a fortunate turn of events.

He wrote about his trip to Florida to visit family, undergoing a transformative operation with Bindi, experiencing adventures in Oregon, and combining it all with a Disney excursion.

Last month, Bindi found herself in the hospital mere hours following her arrival in Las Vegas for an event honoring her deceased father, Steve Irwin.

Instead of going to a high-profile event with her brother Robert Irwin and mother Terri Irwin, she had to undergo emergency surgery due to a burst appendix, which she unfortunately missed.

Robert told People magazine at the time Bindi was recovering and her mother was at her bedside.

Robert stated, “She’ll be alright, but the need for surgery wasn’t something we had prepared for.

Additionally, Terri was unable to attend the event since she accompanied her daughter to the hospital and stayed with her during the surgery.

Robert clarified that Bindi had endured some discomfort prior to the gala, yet she bravely attempted to carry on.

In Las Vegas, she prepared herself to show a strong front. She expressed, “I’ll simply have to endure this.

‘But the surgeon told her, “Your appendix is going. It’s got to come out.”‘

Through a recent Instagram update, Bindi shared that during the appendectomy, medical professionals found 14 additional growths related to her endometriosis. Fortunately, they were all able to be successfully excised as well.

In addition, she underwent surgery to fix a hernia that occurred following the birth of her daughter Grace in 2021.
