However, take heart, for the series has been renewed on MGM+, ensuring a fitting finale to this outlaw’s story. The bitter pill, of course, is that we are nearing the end of our journey together.

According to a press statement, the upcoming Western drama featuring Tom Blyth, known for his role in “The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes,” is set to debut on a streaming platform in the year 2025. This series will comprise a total of eight episodes, similar to previous seasons. However, the specific release date has not been disclosed as of now. Regardless, we’re excited and willing to wait for its premiere!

It’s clear that the final season of this series will deliver an extraordinary conclusion, both in terms of its production quality and storyline. However, if the show deviates too much from the true story of the historical figure and his fate, it may end up being a rather tragic conclusion to the tale. Once again, Billy finds himself on the run, with his old friend, Sheriff Pat Garrett, hot on his trail. As previously shown at the end of season 2, Dulcinea aided Billy in escaping after his capture. It seems that they have been fleeing together, but there may come a time when Billy chooses to settle down, as suggested by the synopsis. Here’s how it could be rephrased:

Besides Billy the Kid, the cast includes Alex Roe portraying Sheriff Pat Garrett, Daniel Webber taking on the role of Jesse Evans, and Nuria Vega as the character Dulcinea.
