On Monday, Elizabeth Hurley took to social media to express heartfelt birthday wishes for Billy Ray Cyrus, showering him with warm sentiments in her post.

The actress shared a series of lovestruck photos on Instagram as a token of affection towards her boyfriend who she’s been dating for five months. In her caption, she disclosed an uncommon nickname she uses for her partner, Billy Ray.

However, an intriguing aspect of the images caught my attention – Billy Ray Cyrus had sported a fresh, new hairstyle.

As an ardent admirer, I couldn’t help but swoon over a captivating photo of Liz and Billy Ray that seemingly originated from her stunning Herefordshire abode. In this heartwarming image, they both graced the frame, nestled before a colossal portrait of the model. The charm was amplified as Billy Ray artfully styled his long mane into intricate braids, a sight that left me absolutely smitten!

In a new photo, the singer was seen with his hair styled in two braided ponytails, smiling next to Liz.

Billy Ray’s notorious and defining hairstyle is his iconic mullet, a style that solidified its recognition when he achieved stardom in 1992 with the hit country song “Achy Breaky Heart.

Though he’s since ditched his nineties look, the singer still has a soft spot for his mullet.

2017 saw him unveil the song titled “Bring Back My Mullet”, expressing to his audience: “I yearn for my mullet again. For my old Camaro and my eight-track player. The fuzzy dice swinging freely, full of pride. ZZ Top, their tunes are echoing loud. It’s those carefree days I long for.

Elizabeth and Billy Ray shocked fans when they debuted their unlikely romance back in April. 

The pair’s relationship began following his divorce from Firerose – his third marriage.

In the 2022 film “Christmas In Paradise”, he crossed paths with Elizabeth, and amidst his journey through that separation, he chanced upon a message from Liz.

In his conversation on Apple Music’s The Ty Bentli Show, he shared that at some point, he found himself feeling almost overwhelmed, thinking, “Geez, could things be any more challenging? Could they be any more difficult?” It was as if he had been pushed to the absolute limit, lying flat on his back while life continued to pummel him. However, during this trying time, a friend offered support.

Later on, Billy made an effort to remember what the message contained and shared that she mentioned, “Hey, it seems life could pose some challenges for now, just wanted you to understand I’m standing by your side; you can count on me as your ally.

Initially, upon receiving the text, the artist admitted he wasn’t aware of the sender’s identity.

I responded, ‘Who is this?’ and it turned out to be Elizabeth Hurley. Out of all the people contacting me at that moment when I could have used a good laugh, it was my funny friend.

He later gushed that the actress is ‘a great human being’ and also ‘impressively brilliant.’

‘There’s a striking similarity between her and Dolly Parton – not just physically but also in her sharp business acumen. Sharing a sense of humor makes tackling any challenge that much easier with her.’

The star also reflected on how he has also gotten close to his girlfriend’s son Damian as well.

I’m really grateful that God has brought these people into my life at the right time. It’s just wonderful, and it’s been a while since I’ve felt this level of happiness.

Billy Ray Cyrus was in a long-term marriage with Tish Cyrus from 1993 until 2023, during which they had four kids together – Miley (age 32), Noah (age 25), and Braison (age 31). Additionally, he became the stepfather to Tish’s older children Brandi (age 38) and Trace (age 36), who were born from a previous relationship.

He is also dad to son Christopher, 33, whom he welcomed with ex Kristen Luckey.
