Billy Ray Cyrus’ Family Feud Escalates: Legal Threats and Heartfelt Pleas Revealed!
Billy Ray Cyrus‘ son Braison addressed their family rift over the weekend.
Following accusations by his brother Trace Cyrus that their father was considering legal action, the 30-year-old music producer issued a statement addressing the reported rift within their family.
Braison, now working alongside the 63-year-old artist famous for “Achy Breaky Heart”, stated that he holds no grudges towards any of his brothers or sisters.
‘I don’t have any bad feelings toward anyone in my family,’ he told People on Saturday.
Following this event, Trace Cyrus (adopted by Billy Ray in 1993 after his marriage to Tish Cyrus) wrote an expressive letter of worry directed towards their father, which he later alleged contained threats of potential legal retaliation.
In the letter he penned, he shared with their dad that they hardly seem to know him as a person following his inauguration speech.
He expressed on his Instagram recently that, it appears as though the world has worn you out, and although others can see it, you may not be aware of it yourself.
Although you might feel disappointed by my sharing this, let me clarify that it doesn’t significantly affect how I feel now. The musician further mentioned that he and his sisters Brandi Cyrus (aged 37), Miley Cyrus (aged 32), and Noah Cyrus (aged 25) are all expressing their worries about the situation.
For quite some time now, we, including myself and the girls, have felt deeply concerned about your wellbeing. However, it seems like you’ve chosen to distance yourself from each of us.
He went on to say, “We cling to the memories of the man he used to be and eagerly await his return. It’s clear that you’re not well, Father.
Trace also shared insight on their ongoing estrangement and later clapped back at Braison’s claim.
He’s been silent for quite some time, but it’s now over a year and a half since he stopped drinking alcohol. Here’s an update: He’s feeling fantastic!
It’s been a while since we last spoke, but I can proudly say that it’s been more than a year and a half since I gave up alcohol. How’s it going? I’m doing great, honestly!
‘Although I’m not certain about the specific difficulties you’re facing, I believe I can offer some assistance. If you’re willing to share and accept my help, I’d be more than happy to do so. You already know how to get in touch with me. Until that time comes, I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.’
Following Bill Ray’s performance at President Donald Trump’s Liberty Inaugural Ball last Monday, he encountered some technical issues while on stage.
Following Trace’s vocalization of his worries, Braison too shared his thoughts on social media, complimenting their father and displaying enthusiasm for the upcoming release of his latest album.
Over the last year, I’ve had the opportunity to bond with my father more deeply than I ever did before. Following his hospital stay last autumn, I am thankful to see him in good spirits, enjoying great health, and eager to create this album.
Not long after this, Trace responded again on social media, directing his comments towards Braison in defense of Billy Ray.
‘Braison I can help you too. D***. Man up boys,’ he wrote.
Later, Trace said their father allegedly threatened legal action against him.
On Saturday, the Metro Station band member posted another message on social media, which was directed at his father.
Dad, my message held an immense amount of love. I could’ve shared a lot more truths, yet I prefer not to expose our private matters in such a way. However, your response of threatening me with legal action over my concern for your wellbeing is deeply disappointing.
Additionally, he informed his father that his grandfather, who is also known as Pappy and Billy Ray’s father, appears to be observing from above with a sense of deep disapproval.
‘You should be ashamed of yourself,’ Trace wrote to his father.
As a loyal supporter, I want to express that my affection for you remains unwavering, yet I find myself unable to uphold the same respect I once had for you as a man. It seems that those closest to you are hesitant to share their true feelings with you, but I am not one of them. My advice is simple: seek help.
