Billy Joel is postponing his tour by four months ‘due to a medical condition.’
A post on his Instagram indicates that the tour is temporarily paused, as the Uptown Girl singer recently had a surgical procedure.
Despite concerns among fans about the rescheduling, it was reassured that Joel, aged 75, is anticipated to have a complete recovery.
‘Due to his recent surgery and subsequent need for rehabilitation, we’ve decided to delay the upcoming tour by four months. During this time, Joel will be under professional medical care, following a recovery plan set by his doctors. It is anticipated that he’ll make a complete comeback. The tour will pick up again at Acrisure Stadium in Pittsburgh on July 5, 2025.’
As a committed performer, prioritizing my well-being by temporarily stepping away from the stage was necessary. I can’t wait to return and immerse ourselves once more in the enchanting world of live music alongside our extraordinary audience. Your patience and support are deeply appreciated.
