Billy Brownless and Garry Lyon Reunite in Noosa Post-Wedding: A Decade Later!

On Saturday, it seemed as though Billy Brownless and Garry Lyon put their past disagreement to rest, a decade after their highly publicized falling out.

In the year 2016, Garry, age 57, drew attention by making their relationship with Nicky, formerly Billy’s wife, known to the public. This action sparked controversy.

After the wedding ceremony of Billy’s daughter, Ruby, and Josh Wallis, it appeared as though everything had been made right again when they sat for a meal together at breakfast in Noosa.

Billy’s girlfriend Crystle Fleur and daughter Lucy tagged along with him, making it a foursome. They seemed to be enjoying a friendly excursion on Noosa’s Hastings Street in the morning.

It seemed as though the four didn’t arrive simultaneously, but instead, Garry (age 58) and Billy were observed engaging in conversation while standing at a nearby café.

Stepping away from the traditional formal attire typically associated with such events, these AFL legends opted for a relaxed, laid-back style for our morning get-together instead.

Billy wore a light grey T-shirt and a pair of grey. and white striped shorts for the occasion.

He finished his Noosa look with a white LIV golf  baseball-style cap.

Meanwhile, Garry appeared noticeably less formal compared to how he looked the previous night, as he was spotted departing for the wedding.

Garry donned an outfit strikingly reminiscent of his best mate’s, sporting a simple beige T-shirt and matching beige shorts.

He, too finished his casual look with a navy blue cap that featured a gold crab insignia. 

Additionally, he donned a pair of dark shades, hinting at his possible departure, or casual visit where merely greeting him was the objective.

The duo looked to be happy in each other’s company, chatting away amid a cafe of diners.

Meanwhile, Billy’s girlfriend, the businesswoman Crystle Fleur, exuded a casual elegance in a light sky-blue tank top and a set of pale jeans.

For the special event, she chose to let her stunning golden hair cascade freely, adding a touch of elegance with bracelets made of shiny gold.

For the particular gathering, she decided to let her beautiful blonde locks hang loose, complementing her look with some stylish gold bangles on her wrists.

Billy’s daughter Lucy was present too, showing off her fit and slender legs in a sleeveless, warm-brown gown without sleeves.

The three of them were seen laughing and chatting pleasantly while they savored their breakfast at the table.

Although no photos from Ruby and Josh’s wedding ceremony have been shared so far, Ruby posted on Instagram last Friday to mark the beginning of their ‘wedding period’.

With excitement gleaming on her face, the daughter of renowned AFL player Billy Brownless shared a moment on a dock with her Western Bulldogs partner before their big day. For a few pre-wedding photos, she wore an enchanting, backless gown in a stunning location.

28-year-old American country singer Zac Bryan accompanied his new love interest, Hannah Duncan (age 27), who is a close friend of Ruby’s, to the event.

The singer from Something in the Orange titled his selfie from last Friday as, ‘I’m going to remove 30 beers.’

Simultaneously, Ruby’s sister Lucy joyfully took on the job of an enthusiastic videographer, recording the memorable instances happening under the setting sun to share online.

‘I love you,’ Lucy captioned a golden hour selfie taken with the bride to be.

In the soft glow of the golden hour, Nicky Brownless, aged 58, radiated joyfully as she struck a pose for a solo photograph.

In 2016, Garry made headlines by going public with his former AFL Footy Show colleague Billy’s ex-wife, Nicky.

As a lifestyle advisor, I find myself reflecting on the heart-wrenching dissolution of the Brownlesses’ 18-year marriage, a union that once seemed unbreakable to many. The revered figure in Australian Rules Football, Andrew “Leigh” Brownless, has shared candid narratives about the pain inflicted by Lyon’s actions. At one point, he admitted to harboring ‘a hint of animosity’ towards the legendary Melbourne Demons player.

About a month after the shocking revelation surfaced, I candidly expressed my disbelief by saying, “A true friend wouldn’t act like that,” before making a surprising confession about my suspicions. I believed that Garry and Nicky might have been in a secret relationship for quite some time.

In the year 2020, it seemed as though the past disputes were put aside when Billy attended the Christmas celebration with Nicky, their children, and Lyon, who were once considered enemies.

That followed Brownless admitting the pair were in a ‘good spot’ earlier in the year.

Photographs shared on Christmas Day showed the blended family spending the day together.

Brownless posed alongside Nicky and their kids, and Lyon was also featured in some of the snaps.

At our latest family gathering, snapshots captured by onlookers depict myself (Brownless) and my companion Nicky, basking in comfort and joy while in each other’s presence. We convened to observe Ruby and Wallis rehearse what appeared to be a practice ceremony, surrounded by the warmth of our dear ones.
