Billionaire Heiress Rocks Uncle’s Ex’s Activewear in Sydney!

Francesca Packer-Barham put on a casual display as she ran errands in Sydney on Tuesday.

The 30-year-old billionaire heiress opted for comfort in activewear from the fashion brand, The Upside, which is owned by her uncle James Packer’s former wife, Jodhi Meares.

She exited wearing a navy sweater by that label, paired with navy leggings, along with a cozy pair of Yeezy athletic shoes.

Francesca, with her long brown hair loose, sported dark shades while walking briskly with a big box in Potts Point.

Jodhi famously married Francesca’s uncle James in 1999 before splitting from him in 2002.

In 2002, when their three-year marriage ended, this pair managed to maintain a friendship. Recent reports suggest they continue to be quite close.

Francesca is the child of Australian businessperson Gretel and the great-grandchild of the late media tycoon, Kerry Packer.

Her uncle, the Australian billionaire James, previously held the position of owner and chairman for the prominent Crown Resorts company.

Francesca has just sold her fabulous Sydney apartment, which she initially put up for sale about a year ago.

Reportedly, the inheritor gained approximately $30 million when she sold the five-bedroom property she bought for $16.75 million in the year 2019.

Nestled in the vibrant neighborhood of Darlinghurst, approximately 2 kilometers away from the Central Business District (CBD), this luxurious penthouse occupies a full floor within the esteemed Horizon skyscraper. It boasts breathtaking vistas of the city’s stunning skyline.

Francesca first listed the luxury flat in November 2023 for an eye-watering $32million.

After spending approximately seven months without a buyer, the elegantly designed apartment was relisted for sale in June 2024 at a price of $30 million.

The agent involved in the sale would not confirm the purchase, reported the Wentworth Courier.

In fact, it was revealed by real estate experts that Francesca’s apartment has been sold at auction to a local purchaser, coming very near to the original asking price.

As per the report, the wealthy heirress chose to sell her property as she wished to devote more time at her secondary residence, which happens to be London.

The apartment, a masterpiece designed by renowned Australian-Austrian architect Harry Seidler, showcases no less than five bathrooms, adorned with exquisite Côte d’Azur marble.

A balcony that offers a 360-degree view of Sydney’s famed harbour.
