Over the past few months, there’s been a lot of buzz in the Southern Highlands about the mysterious woman said to have captured Mike Cannon-Brookes’ affection.

After a 13-year marriage, Atlassian CEO, who is currently 45 years old, and his ex-wife Annie are now dealing with the challenging duty of distributing their substantial fortune and possessions, valued at approximately $31 billion, as they work through this process with their legal teams.

It’s no hidden fact that after his separation, Elon Musk has been seen dating someone. Interestingly, The Wall Street Journal reported in November that he was seeing a ‘civilian’ he had met in the Highlands. When we reached out to Atlassian for confirmation, they chose not to comment on his new relationship.

In the previous month, there was an intense speculation that Phoebe Burgess, the former wife of the retired NRL star Sam Burgess, was actually a civilian. However, upon further investigation in Bowral, it turned out to be merely an overly excited group of school moms spreading rumors after consuming too much wine on their WhatsApp groups.

Though it’s unclear who the mystery woman accompanying Cannon-Brookes might be, recent photographs taken by paparazzi show him boarding a private plane alongside a woman who seems to fit his preferences based on initial observations.

On a Saturday morning, the billionaire was spotted landing at Sydney Airport, having flown in from San Francisco aboard a private plane. However, he wasn’t alone upon his arrival.

He trailed after a young woman, multiple reports indicate her name is Amelia. This individual, who is known to be employed in technology, is rumored to have connections with the Southern Highlands region.

With a big suitcase in hand, Cannon-Brookes chose a laid-back outfit for the flight: blue jeans, a brown sweater, and a black coat. In contrast, Amelia selected a knitted sweater, a denim jacket, and white trousers.

Following their departure from the plane, the duo was spotted transferring their belongings into a vehicle, then departing jointly. Amelia took her place in the front-seat passenger side during this exit.

At this point, there’s not much information available about Amelia. The details surrounding her connection with Cannon-Brookes remain vague. However, a LinkedIn profile bearing her name suggests that she is employed at a modest software company.

Reports indicate that the alleged romantic involvement between Cannon-Brookes and influencer Phoebe Burgess is being followed up after initial reports surfaced.

However, the rumor, left unconfirmed by both parties, appears to be just baseless chatter arising from the shared circumstance that they both enroll their kids in the same private school in Moss Vale.

Behind all the ongoing conjecture lies the recent divorce of Cannon-Brookes from his wife Annie. Dividing their massive fortune, estimated at around $31 billion, could potentially become quite intricate as they sort out their substantial wealth and holdings.

Their separation was first revealed by the Australian Financial Review in July 2023. 

At that point, it was mentioned by a family representative that they are each prioritizing their kids above all else at the moment.

In January 2010, the two individuals who later separated got married and have four kids together. A few months before they parted ways, they were unfortunately involved in a serious car crash. As a result of the accident, Cannon-Brookes required hospitalization for his injuries.

But they both made a full recovery and the crash was not related to their separation.

Annie had been employed as a fashion designer when she initially encountered Cannon-Brookes at the Qantas lounge in Sydney Airport, during her journey back to Michigan over a decade earlier.

He wooed her by inviting her to an awards ceremony and they soon became inseparable.

Among their various property acquisitions throughout their life together, the Fairwater estate spanning 1.1 hectares in the upscale Sydney suburb of Point Piper, which was once home to the late Lady Mary Fairfax, stands out as the most lavish.

In 2018, they bought it without hesitation, even though the staggering $100 million price was a daunting figure, making it the priciest property in Australia at that moment.

In addition to that, they also possessed a house worth approximately 14.25 million dollars in Newport, located along Sydney’s northern coastline. This property is situated near the 24.5 million dollar estate they bought back in 2020.

Additionally, the duo shelled out approximately 2.55 million dollars for a quaint fisherman’s house nestled at Great Mackerel Beach in the northern coastal areas, a location that can only be reached by watercraft.

Despite the uncertainty about how they plan to partition their property empire following their separation, Cannon-Brookes has been acquiring a variety of luxurious properties over the past few months.

Based on the report, it’s stated that he purchased three expansive estates located on the slopes of Mount Gibraltar in Mittagong, with a total cost of approximately 12.25 million dollars.
