Billie Shepherd shares worrying health update on baby daughter Margot, 21 months, after she suffered a ‘scary’ medical incident
On Tuesday morning, Billie Shepherd shared that her daughter, Margot, experienced a concerning health issue at their home.
Previously known for her role on TOWIE, the 34-year-old woman is happily married to Greg and together they have three kids: Nelly (aged 10), Arthur (7 years old), and their youngest daughter, Margot (21 months old).
Billie announced on Instagram that Margot experienced a febrile seizure, which is a type of seizure that may happen in children with high fevers.
In simpler terms, the mother posted a photo of her three children, one of whom was ill and resting in bed, alongside her sister Nelly. She reassured everyone that her daughter has returned home and is getting better now.
Billie wrote: ‘Yesterday morning our little darling Margot had another febrile seizure.’
once more, her fever rose high, making it no simpler to bear – it’s always heart-wrenching and terrifying to witness such ordeals for a tiny infant (teary-eyed emoji).

She added: ‘Thankfully she is home and on the mend (love heart emoji).’
Last May, Billie reminisced about a scary instance when she urgently requested for an ambulance upon finding herself and her daughter Margot hurrying towards the hospital due to another seizure.
Billie pondered back on the alarming instance when her child became rigid following a sudden surge in body heat, prompting her to urgently take the child to the emergency room.
In the initial installment of the recently released season of Billie and Greg: The Family Diaries, she pondered over the intense health crisis.
During the show’s episode, it was announced that Billie and Greg found themselves in a critical situation, leading to their daughter, Margot, needing immediate medical attention at the hospital.
Later on, Billie mentioned in a video clip: “We were having lunch at Greg’s sister’s place, but Margot didn’t seem quite well. She had rosy cheeks.
Perhaps she was experiencing teething discomfort, which is quite common. While the children were eating, I momentarily looked away, and to my surprise, Margot suddenly became rigid.
Immediately, I pulled her from the high chair, and my next recollection is of me shouting, “Someone assist me!” followed by her ceasing to breathe. At that point, I cried out, “Someone dial 911!”
Without hesitation, I got her down from the high chair, and after that, my mind only registers me yelling for help: “Someone, please help me!” followed by her not breathing anymore. In response, I yelled again, “Someone, call an ambulance immediately!

Billie went on to say, “In my perspective, it’s all about my mind…” However, she became emotional and wept, eventually finding solace in the arms of her husband, Greg.
As an overly enthusiastic fan, I’d rephrase it like this: ‘Upon our arrival at the hospital, they informed us she was experiencing a febrile seizure – a condition where her body temperature soared unexpectedly, causing her system to react by inducing seizures. This is something that can happen in babies and young children.’
In the hospital, I truly sensed that I had arrived exactly where I should be. It gave me a slight sense of comfort and reassurance.
‘After six hours in A&E, the doctors sent us home and asked us just to keep an eye on Margot.’
