Billie Piper looks chic in a black faux-fur jacket as she works the phones alongside pal Lily James at the BGC Group Charity Day in London

On Thursdays, I found myself stepping away from the world of acting and diving headfirst into the thrilling realm of finance alongside my dearest companion, Billie Piper, and Lily James, in the bustling heart of London.

Stars who have been close friends for a long time were some of the prominent personalities participating in the 21st BGC Annual Charity Day.

At the gathering, Billie, aged 42, presented an elegant appearance with a sleek black faux fur coat draped over a t-shirt bearing the phrase “Choose Love,” paired with a glossy miniskirt.

For the occasion, Billie, who is 42, looked stylish in a chic black faux-fur jacket paired with a ‘Choose Love’ t-shirt and a satin mini skirt.

She finished off her look with a pair of black boots and minimal accessories.

Meanwhile Lily, 36, kept it stylish in a black jumper paired with grey pinstripe trousers.

The pair appeared in good spirits as they posed up a storm for the cameras on the red carpet.

A multitude of other famous personalities such as Davina McCall, Amanda Holden, and Holly Willoughby also attended the event.

Since its inception, Charity Day has raised approximately £220million globally.

Every year, The BGC Group honors the memories of its 658 friends, colleagues, and 61 Euro Brokers employees who tragically passed away in 2001.

During BGC Charity Day, all earnings and brokerage fees generated by the BGC Group are given straight away to the charities taking part in the event.

For this year, organizations that will receive benefits are various local and community-based charities such as HVH Arts, 20/20 Levels, The Pearl Fund, West Ham United Foundation, Battersea Cats and Dogs Home, and The Mayor’s Fund for London, extending to larger national entities.

Additionally, you’ll find numerous international non-profit organizations that strive to make a difference, including Action Medical Research, Choose Love, Space for Giants, and Help for Heroes.

Each year, BGC Charity Day serves as a moving and inspiring experience for me, as Sean Windeatt, joint CEO and COO of the BGC Group, expressed.

‘The first thing we had to do post-9/11 was look after the families of those we had lost.

After completing that task, we pondered upon finding a fitting tribute for them. We decided to transform something distressing into something uplifting, and in 2005, the inaugural BGC Charity Day was held.

Today, that tradition persists. It’s a pleasure for us to aid 60 charities within the UK and numerous ones globally.

Today, we carry on that heritage. We’re thrilled to be helping out 60 charities in the UK and many more across the world.

‘Importantly, 100% of revenues and broker commission from the day – goes directly to charity.

As a champion for sustainable living and thriving communities, I can’t stress enough how crucial it is for urban centers and business circles to prioritize giving back in these times more than ever. Today, I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to our remarkable brokers who selflessly waive their commissions for the benefit of worthy causes.

I also wish to acknowledge our diligent employees who tirelessly work behind the scenes to ensure our charitable events run smoothly and successfully. Their commitment is truly commendable. Lastly, I want to express my deepest appreciation to our clients whose generosity not only supports our business but also empowers us to make a meaningful impact on numerous charities. Your kindness is inspiring and deeply appreciated. Together, we can create a ripple effect of positive change in our city and beyond.

In the previous year, BGC Charity Day managed to gather over $12 million worldwide. We’re thrilled to continue and expand upon this success in the current year.
