Billie Eilish’s brother Finneas reveals he caught his pop star sister selling off his personal belongings – including his mobile phone

Billie Eilish's brother Finneas reveals he caught his pop star sister selling off his personal belongings - including his mobile phone

As an ardent fan of the Eilish siblings, I can’t help but marvel at the tales of their sibling bond and the extraordinary journey they’ve embarked upon together. The recent revelation that Billie once attempted to sell Finneas’ phone during a yard sale, while amusing, is just one of those anecdotes that adds flavor to their unique relationship.

Billie Eilish’s older sibling disclosed a past incident where he returned home to discover his younger sister was getting rid of some of his possessions.

Finneas O’Connell (also known as just Finneas) shared with Australia’s The Project on Friday that his resourceful brother chose to host a garage sale while Finneas was away from home.

Among the items for sale by Billie, who was around eight or nine at the time, was her older brother’s cell phone (since he was a musician).

In my teenage years, around age 12 or 13, I stumbled upon an unexpected scene one day – my neighbor Billie and her friend were hosting a yard sale right outside their home.

‘They were selling just things they found in my room’ he added with a laugh.

I exclaimed, ‘Everyone!’, quickly gathered it all, then declared, ‘This appears to be my mobile phone. Incredible!'” or simply, “Excitedly, I shouted, ‘Guys!’ and collected everything, saying, ‘That seems to be my cell phone – unbelievable!’

Finneas commented that although there was an attempt to steal something, he was genuinely impressed by young Billie’s boldness instead.

The person being referred to was striving to accumulate wealth, and it’s commendable effort they’re putting in.

As kids, he and his 23-year-old sister had a great relationship and managed to steer clear of the usual squabbles between siblings that are common.

‘We didn’t fight all that much as kids. We fought a very regular amount’ he said.

After Finneas talked about his forthcoming solo global tour, he acknowledged that saying goodbye to his little sister was a mix of sweetness and sadness.

On a Thursday, the musician who often performs with Billie Eilish during her major concerts shared his thoughts openly about not participating in her current Hit Me Hard and Soft Tour during an interview on the Therapuss podcast.

He shared with host Jake Shane that the experience has been quite a mix of sweetness and sadness, and he made this decision because he understood that it was impossible for him to be in two locations simultaneously.

I’m unable to conduct tours for myself and her simultaneously, and I wouldn’t want to hinder her desire to explore extensively.

Nevertheless, the Academy Award recipient highly commended her ‘impressive’ concert tour, asserting that his absence doesn’t diminish the performance. Previously, Finneas handled both the electric guitar and drums during his sister’s tours.

He added, “The best part for me was that I’ve watched the performance several times, and it’s fantastic. I find her act to be absolutely incredible. Not being there in person doesn’t diminish its quality one bit.

Recently, Finneas popped up unexpectedly during Billie’s concert at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles as part of her Hit Me Hard and Soft Tour. He later mentioned this event in an interview.

He expressed that she is exceptional, and he has performed a few songs alongside her, but in his opinion, this is the best show she’s ever put on. It’s truly delightful, he added.

On Saturday, he will be serving as the opening act for the singer known as What Was I Made for, concluding the American segment of her tour.

Even though he’s preparing for a solo journey, it doesn’t imply he forgets about his sister. In fact, the guitarist openly mentioned that he often takes time out to catch up with Billie.

He frequently phones her. You see, quite often she’s engaged in athletic activities such as resting or undergoing physical therapy.

I consistently check in to ensure she’s alright. I’ve often expressed before and after she departed that if she ever feels lonely or needs companionship during her journey, I’d be more than happy to join her, providing some company along the way.

Finneas’ “For Cryin’ Out Loud!” Tour is set to commence in early January! It begins on the 7th of January in New Zealand, then moves on to Australia on the 9th, starting off in Brisbane.

Here are thirty-six planned destinations for the tour, which include cities such as Chicago, Illinois, Nashville, Tennessee, Detroit, Michigan, Los Angeles, California, Dublin, Ireland, and Paris, France.

The performance is scheduled to conclude on May 9 in Cologne, Denmark, and has garnered praise from both critics and audiences.

After Billie Eilish confessed that she went through challenging periods during her tours, Finneas made his comments.

Recently, she shared with Vogue that she considers her negative feelings as a transitory phase in her existence. She has learned to appreciate performing live and aims to find pleasure in it.

Billie shared with the media outlet: “I’ve experienced some incredibly challenging periods during my tours. For quite a while, I lived as if everything was temporary. In essence, I was saying to myself, ‘I’m touring now, it’s not great, but it won’t last forever.’

‘And the truth is, it’s the rest of my life,’ the i love you singer said.

Billie further shared with fans that she sometimes experienced feelings of loneliness, acknowledging that her relationship with music has evolved throughout the years.

She expressed that she hadn’t known touring could be pleasurable; instead, she had been quite isolated for a long time, but now her focus is on enjoying both the performances and her daily life.

Recently, the artist who sings “Birds of a Feather” has taken up playing music more as a pastime than as part of her professional duties.

She remarked: “Being a musician, one might expect I’d have managed that task. However, my life took an unexpected turn when I was around the age where I’d typically be making music with friends. Given that it was my career at stake, I had little interest.

For the very first time, I’m enjoying myself without any worry or expectation, and it feels fantastic! There’s no stress about whether this will become a new hit single; we’re simply present, living in the moment.
