Billie Eilish looks upset after getting struck in the face by a bracelet thrown by a fan at Glendale concert

As a long-time concertgoer and music enthusiast, I find myself deeply disturbed by the growing trend of disrespectful behavior at live shows. The recent incident involving Billie Eilish being hit with a candy on stage is just the latest example of this unfortunate phenomenon.

During Billie Eilish’s concert in Glendale, Arizona, as part of her “Hit Me Hard and Soft” tour, she was unexpectedly hit by a thrown bracelet from one of her enthusiastic fans on stage.

At the front of the stage, the young singer from Ocean Eyes, aged 22, was seated in a crossed-leg position when an item of jewelry suddenly hurled towards her.

Despite briefly being taken aback, the accomplished performer persisted with her performance of “What Was I Made For,” showing true professionalism by staring towards the source of the interruption and then tossing the item back to the spectators.

Onlookers voiced their displeasure, booing and venting their frustration, as Eilish was struck by a bracelet. Previously, she had described such incidents as intensely irritating.

During a 2023 interview with THR, the Grammy-winning artist cautioned fans that such actions could potentially be hazardous.

 ‘I’ve been getting hit onstage with things for like, literally, six years,’ she said.

A troubling pattern emerged in June 2023, as singer Bebe Rexha sustained an injury to her brow bone after being struck by a phone during a concert in New York, necessitating stitches.

She sang the lyric, ‘The internet’s gone wild watching movie stars on trial while they’re overturning Roe v. Wade.’

And then she slowly backed away from the microphone and ended the song early.
