Bikini-clad MasterChef star Poh Ling Yeow, 52, shows off her incredibly youthful visage and figure as fans believe she is ageing backwards: ‘She’s gonna be hot at 100!’

Poh Ling Yeow recently turned 52, and her fans are amazed by how youthful she looks, saying she seems to be getting younger instead of older.

The MasterChef Australia star marked the occasion by sharing photos online, highlighting her youthful appearance and fit physique.

One image showed the foodie relaxing in a hammock, rocking a black two-piece swimsuit. 

She recalled feeling insecure at age 15, worrying about being overlooked and believing 30 was a sign of old age. Ironically, when she turned 30, she jokingly felt ancient.

Now, at 52, and having experienced all the ups and downs life has to offer, I feel surprisingly renewed.

Just as a river constantly smooths a pebble, making it gleam with time and allowing dirt to wash away instead of sticking, something can be refined and improved through consistent effort.

Elsewhere, Poh sent best wishes for the New Year and said that she aimed to ‘rush less’ in 2026. 

She went on to say she hoped I could also find time for simple pleasures, like relaxing with a beloved pet – whatever that looks like for me.

I’m realizing it doesn’t matter how hard you work if you don’t also learn to appreciate life and find joy along the way.

The celebrity chef’s fans marvelled over how young the star looked in the image. 

‘I’d swear you were a young girl in that photo,’ said one follower.

Someone wished Poh well for the season and told her she looked cute, adding that she always offers inspiring advice.

Someone else playfully remarked, ‘You’re getting even more beautiful as you get older – seriously, how stunning will you be at 100?’

Poh celebrated her birthday by posting a throwback to her childhood, sharing stories and another picture of herself wearing the same bikini.

She explained that birthdays weren’t really celebrated in her family, and often got overlooked or forgotten.

‘So as odd as it sounds, I’ve not received many presents in my life.’

Poh styled her long, dark hair in pigtails and finished the look with a wide-brimmed straw hat, earrings, and a beautiful beaded necklace she’d treated herself to.

I was so excited when she told me about the beautiful piece she was wearing! It turns out it was handmade by a friend of hers, and even more special, her friend is a member of the Yawanawà tribe from the Amazon rainforest. It really highlighted the artistry and culture of their people.

Poh reached a milestone in 2025 when the reality star was nominated for a Gold Logie.

She was nominated for the award, along with Julia Morris, Ally Langdon, Sonia Kruger, Lisa Millar, Hamish Blake, and ultimately, the winner, Lynne McGranger. She was one of seven nominees.

After the unexpected passing of Jock Zonfrillo and the exits of Melissa Leong and Andy Allen, the chef became a judge in 2022.
