Bikini-clad Katie Price makes a surprising bankruptcy joke as she pokes fun at her financial troubles

On Tuesday, Katie Price humorously referenced her financial struggles due to bankruptcy while taking a selfie in front of a mirror.

46-year-old, once a popular figure in fashion and glamour, faced financial chaos the previous year due to an unexpected tax bill totaling £750,000 that remained unpaid.

At a particularly difficult time, Katie was forced to sell her £2 million property in Sussex, known as the ‘Mucky Mansion’, for significantly less than its original value.

Now, Katie is jokingly referring to her financial issues, all while capturing memories with a friend during their vacation, both donning small pink swimsuits.

In March, I experienced a significant relief when I was released from my overwhelming tax burden, like a heavy load being taken off my shoulders.

Last month, she confessed that she had learned from her mistakes during an episode of The Katie Price Show.

‘I’m not bankrupt anymore! I’m out of it, I’m out of both of them,’ she cried. 

Over the past six years, I’ve found myself in a living nightmare – both mentally and personally. It’s felt like an endless struggle. However, I’ve dedicated myself to expressing myself and addressing the issues that have plagued me, and finally, I’ve managed to break free from it all.

‘It’s such a nice feeling not to be bankrupt anymore. I’m in control of everything now. 

I discovered that when those who are expected to help fail to do so, it leaves me in a difficult situation.

After this experience, I’ve certainly understood my mistake. It’s fortunate that I’ve faced it and emerged on the other side. It’s an incredible sensation and a tremendous accomplishment.

In 2014, Katie bought the expansive, nine-bedroom house that was once owned by former Conservative peer Francis Maude. This very house made an appearance on Channel Four while undergoing restoration.

But Katie’s eviction last May came after the-mother-of-five was unable to pay the mortgage. 

She now lives in a smaller four bed property in Sussex. 

Chris Keane, a lawyer at Fieldfisher LLP representing Katie, clarified that due to lacking expertise in insolvency matters, the celebrity was unaware of the intricacies involved in the bankruptcy procedure.

Over the past two years leading up to 2022, the model accumulated various financial obligations such as income tax, VAT, penalties, and accrued interest, primarily due to self-assessment.

After consulting with lawyers, Katie followed all necessary procedures and was eventually released from any obligation.

And following her discharge, things seem to be on the up for the model.

A friend of hers mentioned to The Sun that she’s earning approximately 50,000 pounds per month due to her work on a campaign with Diesel, a significant movie role, and a profitable agreement with OnlyFans.

Her friend mentioned that she boasts around 2.7 million followers on Instagram, and she’s able to demand substantial fees for sponsored posts or stories. Additionally, she’s thinking about launching her own line of underwear and perfume.

Katie puts in tremendous effort and is committed to rebuilding her wealth and ultimately join the ranks of the wealthy elite, mingling with billionaires, executives, and famous athletes.
