Bikini-clad Bella Thorne talks about her insecurities as she slams Ozempic for creating 'crazy beauty standards'

As a dedicated fan of Bella Thorne, I have always admired her courage and authenticity, especially when it comes to sharing her personal experiences with the world. In her latest social media posts, she showcased her fit form in a bikini while addressing the issue of unrealistic beauty standards set by popular weight loss drugs like Ozempic.

Bella Thorne displayed her toned figure in a swimsuit, but expressed criticism towards a widely-used weight loss medication for perpetuating unrealistic ideals of physical attractiveness.

A 26-year-old director named The Unsettled posted a video on social media over the weekend, showing herself wearing a blue animal print bikini with a halter-neck top and French cut bottom.

With her auburn hair gathered in a ponytail, she stood unadorned by makeup in a spacious hotel bathroom, striking a pose.

She shared in her Instagram Stories that she’s been struggling with self-confidence regarding her body for some time now, more so since she’s seen many people using Ozempic, a diabetes medication known for its significant impact on weight loss.

In simpler terms, she expressed her concern that the extensive utilization of this medication among Hollywood celebrities is creating unrealistic beauty expectations, making it difficult for others to meet those standards without taking the drug.

As a lifestyle expert, I’d be happy to share with you the workouts I’ve been doing to maintain my fitness without relying on medication, much like the radiant Saint Clare. These practices have become an integral part of my daily routine and have kept me feeling strong and vibrant. Let me walk you through them.

She confessed, after swimming daily and exerting myself to the limit with sweat, and covering great distances on foot, that I now feel good about myself.

She expressed relief and repeated, “I feel great now.” Towards Ozempic, she quipped, raising a single finger.

In an alternate video, the artist behind “Shake It” casually modeled in a swimsuit, showing off the stunning ocean vista outside her Italian hotel room window. This scenic view was believed to have been captured during her visit for the Taormina Film Festival, where her film “Saint Clare” debuted as the opening feature and “Unsettled” received a special screening.

In two other clips, the Disney alum showcased her natural beauty appearing makeup free.

She wrote on one clip, “If you could see my history with acne…” And on another, she titled it, “Bare-faced days.” She then questioned her followers, “Do you recall when I used to share videos of me popping pimples on Snapchat?”

In the upcoming video segment, she showed a grin towards the camera while humming with delight, as she no longer needed to perform pimple popping.

The multi-hyphenate is prepping for her feature directorial debut, Color Your Hurt.

An extended adaptation of the 15-minute film “Unsettled” tells the story of a young man growing up in the Bible belt, who is gay and seeks retribution against those who harmed him after being drugged and abducted from a gay bar.

Instead of merely zeroing in on the harassment Parks experienced, Thorne described the project to Deadline as a gripping coming-of-age thriller chronicling Parks’ 37-year long quest for justice.

The young actress, who has personally experienced sexual abuse, expressed her feelings by saying, “I believe it’s unjust for survivors, including myself, to be defined solely by that traumatic experience.”

I find that incredibly unjust, and if someone were to make a film about my life, I believe the experience of being molested as a child would only represent a minor part of it.
