35-year-old singer and her 40-year-old former football player partner shared heartwarming clips of their playful antics on Instagram while relaxing on a sunbed, both adorned in swimsuits.

The Instagram post represents their newest public expression of affection, as they’ve been a couple since approximately October 2023.

For several months, they maintained their relationship as a private matter. Later on, Alex revealed that the reason for this privacy was because they believed their relationship held a unique significance to them.

In The Times, the BBC commentator shared insights about her personal life, expressing that she and Jess are increasingly resembling each other.

In her journal, she described her day-to-day life: Each morning, I rise beside my partner, Jess, who, over the course of the last year and a half, has grown remarkably similar to myself.

‘She can see what going to the gym does for me mentally, so she’ll do the same’.

Last month, there were whispers suggesting the possibility of the couple planning a move to the United States, which lies on the other side of the Atlantic (the pond).

According to The Sun, it’s being suggested that Alex might be contemplating alternative proposals due to feeling unsupported during his time with Football Focus on the BBC.

The dispute arose due to dwindling audience numbers, allegedly causing Alex to feel betrayed or abandoned, as if she had been unceremoniously discarded by the broadcasting company.

According to the source, last year, Alex was deeply upset by unjust criticisms regarding decreased viewership numbers, feeling that she was abandoned or betrayed in a similar manner to someone being pushed under a bus.

It appears that the reported viewer numbers were incorrect. She feels that she didn’t receive support in confirming the accurate viewer numbers.

The presenter’s contract with the BBC is reported to be up for renewal this summer.

Recently, Jess ended her contract with EMI, her recording label, following the poor performance of her album titled “Jess,” which was released in April 2024 and failed to maintain its position on the charts beyond a single week.

According to a source, The Sun learned that Jess is well-versed in producing major hit songs, and her signing with EMI Records generated much anticipation. However, the partnership between them hasn’t been as prosperous as both parties initially envisioned.

The album didn’t perform quite as expected, and unfortunately, none of its singles made it into the Top 40. It’s been challenging for her to regain public recognition following a prolonged absence.

Initially, they agreed that it would be beneficial for both her and the label to discontinue their collaboration. However, Jess is not allowing this setback to diminish her enthusiasm. Instead, she is actively working on fresh music and strategizing her future steps.
