It has been announced that the quirky 3D beat ’em up game titled “Big Helmet Heroes,” developed by Exalted Studio and intended for consoles and PCs, will be available next month. The game offers a variety of 29 characters, each with unique abilities, along with visually stunning and intricate animations.
In this game, you have the freedom to play either solo or join forces with a friend in cooperative mode. The characters mentioned earlier are there to be saved throughout different levels, each level drawing inspiration from classic fantasy themes such as knights, mummies, pirates, and unusual creatures like metal unicorns. Additionally, you can pick among four unique character types, each with its own fighting style and weapons, which include the Warrior, Monk, Rogue, and Brute.
Big Helmet Heroes offers a unique take on the 3D fighting game genre, according to its description. The game boasts intricate design details with a variety of characters, each possessing their own unique traits and special abilities. In this game, you’ll encounter Goblins using an array of weapons such as swords, axes, clubs, crossbows, electric fly swatters, and even laser guns!
The game appears to have a similar feel to Castle Crashers, but in three dimensions. The game titled Big Helmet Heroes will be released on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC on February 6th for $24.99 (standard edition) or $29.99 (Exalted Edition, which includes a digital art book and soundtrack).
