As someone who has spent a considerable amount of time immersed in the world of reality television, I can empathize with Ekin-Su’s struggles following her appearance on Celebrity Big Brother (CBB). Her experience echoes a common theme among participants: the harsh glare of public opinion and scrutiny.

In the live finale of Love Island on ITV2 on Monday, a sneak peek unveiled the latest surveillance technology from Big Brother.

viewers first saw the logo during the show, just as the countdown started for the eagerly awaited second season of the reality series.

This year’s eye is a colourful and abstract with oil dripping across a yellow background before forming the iconic eye shape.

As an obsessed fan, I can’t contain my excitement when I hear the words “Big Brother is back”! And just as the anticipation reaches its peak, Marcus Bentley makes the grand announcement over the theme tune: “I’m your host, Marcus Bentty, and let me be the first to tell you – Big Brother is coming back this Autumn, only on ITV2 and ITVX. Can you believe it? The suspense is killing me!

2000 saw me tuning into Channel 4 for the debut of this unstoppable reality TV show, but it wasn’t until it shifted over to Channel 5 that my obsession truly took hold. Fast forward to 2018, and despite its cancellation, I still can’t get enough of the memories it brought me.

1. However, ITV brought back the program last year, accompanied by a celebrity edition and the renowned Live Stream and Late & Live spin-off show. This additional content was viewed an impressive 70 million times online.

AJ Odudu and Will Best will once again be at the helm, guiding us through the excitement, as a diverse group of fresh residents move into an updated Big Brother home.

I could barely contain my excitement as I watched David Potts being named the victor of Celebrity Big Brother during the thrilling finale in March.

As a devoted fan, I’m thrilled to share that I, along with many others, watched as my favorite Ibiza Weekender star, aged 30, emerged victorious in the Celebrity Big Brother competition. It was a close call, but our champion managed to just edge out Nikita Kuzmin, age 26, who took the runner-up spot. Colson Smith came in third place, while Louis Walsh and Fern Britton followed closely behind in fourth and fifth places, respectively. The excitement and suspense were palpable throughout the competition, making it a truly unforgettable experience!

While Ekin-Su Culculoglu, eliminated earlier in the series, confessed that she felt ‘harassed’ during her stint on the program, she also acknowledged that her predicament was largely self-inflicted.

The victor of Love Island at 29 years old faced allegations of insincerity and acting during her time on the reality program. Consequently, upon her departure from the house in March, she was met with jeers and received threatening messages.

1. Ekin-Su has recently expressed that she was not at her optimal self following her breakup with her long-time boyfriend and Love Island fellow contestant Davide Sanclimenti (29 years old). Moreover, she is not satisfied with how she presented herself during the ITV show.

She shared with The Sun: “I made a mistake, and it’s on me. I had a significant amount of personal issues that I brought onto the show, and unfortunately, I let those feelings spill over from outside the house into my interactions within it.”

In the house, I put on a facade and didn’t act authentically because I was coping with difficult circumstances. I wasn’t concealing any specific strategy, but rather hiding my true emotions and recent experiences, including past traumas. It’s no wonder others perceived me as insincere.

During that period, CBB faced numerous criticisms from Ofcom due to how Ekin-Su was handled, with viewers expressing concern that she was being mistreated and even bullied during Late & Live, based on allegations of biased editing.

It was revealed by Ekin-Su that just moments before her conversation with hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best during her departure, her relatives and acquaintances informed her that she was being “written off” or “deemed inappropriate” due to an unfavorable portrayal in the show.

As a lifestyle expert, I’d put it this way: Before sitting down for my TV interview, I was pulled aside by my dear ones. They shared concerns that had arisen between the filming of certain scenes and the exit conversation. They warned me, “Your portrayal on the show has been manipulated by producers. You’ve been unfairly edited, and your image may have taken a hit as a result.”

I was taken aback when I was called upon to talk with AJ and Will just moments after being given the news. The situation left me feeling humiliated and insignificant, akin to a child being scolded by their elders. In the heat of the moment, I made an impulsive comment based on the feedback I’d received from my loved ones, but in retrospect, I should have watched the episode myself before making any hasty judgments. My actions were not an excuse, but rather a testament to the emotional intensity of the situation. It was a valuable lesson learned the hard way.

1. Ekin-Su acknowledged that AJ, along with the audience in the studio, represented her “bully group,” and she felt “exposed” or “without cover” during the “awkward” discussion.

The Turkish actress expressed her confusion, mentioning that she couldn’t understand why so many people disliked her and it seemed as if the entire world was working against her.

After appearing on “CBB,” Will the host has extended an invitation to Ekin-Su for an event, but she mentioned that she hasn’t had any contact with AJ yet.

After her participation in CBB, Ekin-Su admitted that she had been holed up at home for extended periods of time. However, she also acknowledged that the reality show provided her with the necessary motivation to regain focus and clarity after her tumultuous split.
