Big Brother’s Lewis Flanagan Shocks Fans with New Look and Religious Transformation!

Fans of Big Brother were taken aback when one of the program’s most contentious contestants reappeared on social media, showing a significantly different look compared to his time on the show.

Lewis Flanagan made an appearance on the program back in 2018, marking its last season to be aired on Channel 5 prior to its cancellation due to poor viewership figures. The show was later reintroduced on ITV2 in 2023.

Prior to appearing on the program, he expressed that his primary enthusiasm revolved around personal development and felt strongly that people should strive for self-improvement in all aspects – physical, emotional, financial, and spiritual.

He mentioned that his friend provided him with the application for Big Brother, and he contemplated, “Given that I’m rather solitary, this could compel me to showcase my weaker traits as an individual – interacting socially and communicating effectively.

Struggling to avoid circumstances I’d rather not participate in, as it poses a significant difficulty for me.

In the next-to-last week, Lewis was unexpectedly asked to leave the house due to an unbroadcasted remark he made about Auschwitz.

As a devoted admirer, I’d like to share that I was asked to vacate the Big Brother House due to inappropriate speech that violated the established regulations. My departure from the House was prompt and immediate.

Later on, he confessed that his removal was due to joking about Adolf Hitler and suggesting ‘murder of all Jews’ during a chat with competitor Cameron Cole.

During an interview with The Sun, Lewis clarified that his previous remark was simply a “tongue slip” and emphasized that he is not in any way prejudiced against the Jewish community.

In conversation before he left, he mentioned: “I was discussing with Cameron about procuring some clothes for him, but accidentally used the term ‘Auschwitz’ instead.

Initially, I unintentionally made a mistake with my words, then I attempted humor by imitating Adolf Hitler, impersonating him saying, “Eliminate the Jews.

Speaking as a lifestyle expert, if someone were to ask me about any remarks I’ve made that might have caused upset, I’d be honest and open about my feelings. I would express that I am deeply saddened by the unintended offense, acknowledging it was an unfortunate slip of the tongue.

I’ve always made an effort to avoid causing offense or hurting others emotionally, and I find such behavior unacceptable. However, if I’ve ever accidentally said something offensive, it was simply a momentary lapse in judgment, not a deliberate attempt to offend.

I regret to say that my choice of words and poor language have come back to haunt me. It was never my intention to offend anyone, hurt feelings, disrespect any background, sexuality, race, gender, or religion. In light of this, I apologize sincerely. Clearly, there will be consequences to pay.

He clarified, “I’m not anti-Semitic; instead, I’m uncertain about the existence of God or religious doctrines. Regardless, I hold love and respect for all people.

After leaving the competition, the previous participant publicly apologized on Instagram Live for any inappropriate comments he made, stating that he has been navigating through an emotional rollercoaster since his unexpected departure.

To provide more insight into his statements, he explained, “It was unintentional and not harmful. Initially, I regretted my apology in private as it was just a verbal slip-up, but sincerely, I do apologize.

Initially, I didn’t give much thought to others’ opinions, but to some extent, that remains true. Yet, the outpouring of support from my followers has made me value their perspectives.

If you find my authentic self not to your liking, consider this a gesture, but should I unintentionally hurt you, I apologize sincerely and promise not to use those specific words again in the future.

Originally from Middlesborough, the individual shared insights about how his departure impacted his psychological well-being: “I’ve felt incredibly adrift, consuming a lot of alcohol, attempting to distance myself from others. I’m not inherently evil, I’m shattered in numerous aspects, but I’m striving to improve myself.

He explained: “Regardless of the color of your skin or where you originate, we’re all members of the human race, and that fact carries no significance.

I made fun of Hitler unintentionally, which turned out to be a mistake. If you wish to alter your opinion about me, I understand and respect that choice.

He expressed that he had formed a deep bond with the Big Brother team, stating: “When I was evicted, the producers were deeply saddened. They’ve been incredible.

I used to try to solve my problems on my own for years, but now I realize that I can no longer do so. There was a point where I hesitated to admit it, even though my family encouraged me not to, but eventually, I did.

In a friendly manner, he spoke to his followers, saying, “Hey there! Thanks a bunch for your support…and for those sending me negativity, well, you can take a hike!” (This is a less aggressive and more polite way of expressing the original message.)

The individual, known for frequently discussing his preference for a flexitarian diet and aversion towards consuming meat, has recently adopted a carnivore diet. He’s been actively posting numerous videos and photos showcasing his enjoyment of steak.

In January, he clarified why he had abandoned his vegetarian diet. He stated: ‘At present, I’m conducting a carnivore trial, and all indications show that steak is the healthiest food on Earth, unlike kale, which is nonsense.’

Apart from a significant change in appearance, Lewis sported a new hairstyle – a shaved head – and opted for a mustache instead of his previous beard and man-bun.

After relocating to Brisbane, he frequently posts pictures showcasing his enthusiasm for rock climbing and exercising at the gym. His photos, mostly without shirts, reveal a remarkably toned body.

Previously identifying as agnostic, Lewis later became a member of a religious organization, claiming that his life was irreversibly transformed upon encountering what he now refers to as God.

During the Christmas season, he posted pictures of his own baptism in a small swimming pool and excitedly spoke highly of an evangelical organization known as Awakening Australia.

Last month, Lewis shared insights about his mental well-being, revealing that he grappled with suicidal thoughts a year prior, leading to his admission in a psychiatric facility. However, he experienced a profound spiritual transformation since then.

Prior to my spiritual transformation through God, I used to view Christians as delusional, attributing their faith to believing in a man in the heavens merely because the Bible stated X, Y, and Z. However, what was never discussed was the supernatural element of experiencing God himself. Yet, after meeting Jesus, after witnessing his presence, hearing his voice, sensing his spirit, my perspective has been irrevocably altered forever.
