Big Brother winner Ali Bromley reveals she ‘hasn’t spoken’ to Marcello Spooks about their fiery final night row – and shares sweet plans for her £90k prize money

During the live final on Friday, Ali emerged victorious over Marcello to claim the title of Big Brother champion, with Emma Morgan placing third.

She was followed by Hanah Haji in fourth, Nathan King in fifth and Segun Shodipo in sixth place.

While living in the house, Ali often expressed straightforward opinions that caused a stir among the other residents. Notably, she had several disagreements with Khaled Khaled, whom she claimed was insincere.

Although they parted amicably when Khaled was eliminated in week five, Ali disclosed that their encounter during the show’s finale was quite brief.

Instead, she continued by telling TopMob that following her open discussion about her ADHD diagnosis on the program, she wishes to emphasize that there should be no embarrassment associated with this condition and that it is perfectly acceptable to seek medical assistance for it.

She mentioned that she tends not to discuss her ADHD or autistic traits because people might not fully believe or comprehend the challenges she faces, even though she appears to be coping and managing well. So, she often chooses to keep quiet about it.

In the house, I felt it necessary to express, “This situation is quite pertinent.” My housemates should comprehend my circumstances as they will influence our interactions, particularly given the intense and overwhelming nature of this environment. The sensory stimuli here were unfamiliar to me – there was light, sound, and more that I’m usually not exposed to.

In the situation I found myself in, there was no quiet spot where I could privately gather my thoughts and relax. Instead, I chose to be candid about it. My hope is that others who witness such instances would understand that it’s alright to discuss these topics openly.

‘It’s perfectly fine to get a diagnosis or ask for help if you need it. It’s okay to receive therapeutic treatment, and it’s okay to consider medication. Whatever steps you take to make your world feel more manageable are valid choices. I hope this message encourages everyone to remember that seeking help is not something to be ashamed of.’

Throughout her stint on the program, spectators witnessed Ali develop a strong bond with Lily Benson, a woman who works at a Chinese takeout, to the point where she affectionately called her her “younger sibling.

Ali informed TopMob that finding themselves together again at the finale following Lily’s removal a week prior felt quite delightful, and they have already been discussing their future get-togethers.

She expressed that she has strong emotional ties to their relationship, which developed during their time in the House. She’s also enjoyed watching heartwarming video compilations showcasing their interactions throughout the series. It was a delight for her to reconnect with her again.

Since then, we’ve been exchanging messages and brainstorming ideas for a possible reunion – fingers crossed that it leads to more shared laughter similar to what we experienced during our time together in the house.

Ali disclosed that she intends to use some of her £90,000 winnings to support her new friend. She expressed: “I truly didn’t anticipate being viewed so negatively outside the house, I never fathomed winning and I never allowed myself to contemplate the possibility that I could be a candidate for victory. Instead, I always assumed I would be seen as a loser.

Indeed, I mentioned earlier that I intend to cover the costs for Lily to visit Ibiza next year. This was actually her dream destination, something she had expressed a strong desire to accomplish.

She insists on me joining her, though it’s not set in stone yet. I’m unsure of the details. We’ll find out when we get there… she seems more likely to handle it compared to me.

Speaking about her last week in the house, Ali mentioned that following Lily’s exit, it turned out to be one of the toughest periods for her during the show.

As a lifestyle expert, I fully understand why they might have felt hesitant about getting acquainted with me. Yet, instead of changing my approach or persona, I decided to stay true to who I am – continuing along my unique path.

Inquired about her future plans since leaving the renowned residence, Ali disclosed that for the first time, she finds herself unsure about what lies ahead.

Currently, she doesn’t have a set plan, which is uncharacteristic of her since she usually has a plan for her career advancement or the next exciting chapter in her life. At the moment, however, she doesn’t have a plan, and it might be refreshing to not have one for a short while.
